Does anyone know if there's a firefox plugin that forces this or is there a .flv or .swf file I can get to do this?
edit: Using the newest version of flash player, on windows 7 ultimate

If you need to, you can always pop-out the video, than just maximize the screen, it's not full screen per-say but it's quite big enough.

Yes I have been doing this but I was hoping someone might actually have a proper option to full screen without it minimizing back down. Thank you for your input though.

Patching a flash dll with a hex editor allows you to watch fullscreen on another monitor while still using the other. Open C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\npswf32.dll in your favourite hex editor (eg. HxD - Freeware Hex Editor and Disk Editor | mh-nexus) (For Vista users the file will be here : c:\windows\sysWOW64\macromed\flash\npswf32.dll) Go to offset 0×136340 (hex address) Change the byte from 74 to EB. If you do not have 74 at that address you have a different version of Flash installed than the one this will work with. That was the old trick, and might still be applicable. I can't post a link to the source as I had it copied in a txt file, but I remember there being several places where you could download a hacked npswf32.dll file so you wouldn't have to do the editing yourself. Search around on google and I'm sure you can find it. Whether or not it will work on the newest version of Flash though, I cannot say. EDIT: I am fairly certain this is the trick for Flash 10.0, my last statement is meant to convey that I haven't updated my Flash since then, so I am unsure if it will work with Flash 10.3 (which I believe is the current version)

Unless anyone else comes out with more things to try edit: On July 19 2011 02:26 danaz wrote: Just to update, I've used this on the most recent version of Flash and it seems to work just fine. You surely noticed that if you pause a video or play a game in flash in full screen mode, then it will leave the fullscreen mode as soon as you click on an another monitor. I found a solution that need no hack or patch for the DLL. Just download and install Flash Keep FullScreen from this website, and you're done ! http://flash-full-screen-multiple-monitor.clangen.com/
