Hey guys, was wondering if anyone had come across this.
Basically I got the keyboard in march 09 and only recently remembered that I had a set of headset jacks audio/mic on the keyboard itself. It's a bit easier for cable management than plugging it into the front panel on my tower so I tried that.
However, there's a kind of interference type noise when I put the headset on while connected through the keyboard. The keyboard has leads that go in to the back for headset jacks and usb. I swapped those around to the front panel to see if it would make any difference; it didn't. As a last ditch attempt, I updated the tarantula firm ware but that didn't change anything.
The headset has never had any problems and is fine whatever headset jacks i put it in to.
Was just wondering if anyone had any ideas considering my audio is fine otherwise, no interference coming from the speaker system themselves.
Might just be buggered but figured I'd give it a shot.
Thanks, Chiv.

Well, I know this isn't probably the solution you're looking for, but in my experience with any razer keyboard (ever) you can't plug the second USB in, or the headphone thing. In my instances, it would cause my games/computer to crash and lock up sometimes. So, it never works, even with updated drivers. I think it's just a razer thing.

Second USB works fine. I plug 2 USBs in normally. Tried it with one too.

Thanks for the reply btw.

Try to uninstall your drivers. I have had the same keyboard for a while, don't use the drivers, never have. And the Jack and USB ports are working perfectly. Sounds unlikely that the drivers is causing it but it is worth a try! :D If it does not work there is probably a malfunction with your keyboard.. Atleast that's what my opinion is. xD
Edit: If it doesn't work you can always take contact with Razer support via www.razerzone.com

My friend was having this issue when his iPod was connected to any USB connector on his pc.

hmm I'll try uninstalling the drivers.
Never really thought of that.
Edit: Hmm no such luck sadly. Razer support it is.
