I think G9x is the worst mouse I've ever owned… bought it after my MX518 (a very good mouse) broke and I wanted to try something new. I got used to it, but it never really felt right. Then, at a LAN I got an opportunity to try Deathadder; instantly fell in love with it and been in heaven ever since. Oh and it also made me pick up Quake again
Didn't imagine picking a keyboard could be this hard. I've struggled between brown and black switches, and if I should wait for tenkeyless UK layout or not. Anyway, I've somewhat decided to pick brown switches, mainly for FPS and RTS, but I also do whole a lot of programming.

if your a runner, buying the best shoes wont make you the best
being a good runner through experience will, but then the shoes may give a slight advantage :D
Buying what you NEED is the key point, not copying other people. This step is suprisingly important because it means you know exactly what you are looking for instead screwing around.

I would go with a regular size Brow switches if you also do a lot of typing. I'd assume the number pad might come in handy in programming, no?

My filco is packaged for Japanese market. All branding and descriptions are in Japanese but on the box it says Made In Taiwan.
It's a good deal quieter than blues, but still a little louder than a normal membrane keyboard I'd say. I don't think you'd have too many issues using one in an office.

Can't go back to regular keyboards after using filco.
On my Filco w/Browns, most of the noise is made by the keys bottoming out, so it depends on how hard you hit the keys. If you avoid bottoming out the board it's pretty quiet. Normal typing will be louder than a standard membrane keyboard, though. I imagine once you adjust to the lighter keys it won't be so noisy, so perhaps get used to it at home first before bringing it in to work.
what i also wanted to say but forgot about is, that these keyboard indeed doesnt boost ure skill :D. its only useful for people who are interested on what they type the whole day long. so if ure a normal gamer smashing the keys, this sort of keyboard isnt necessary at all :D.
for everyone else, this is an orgasm to type on! the cherry blue switches are also, but they are clicky, like the old typewriters :D.
I like it because every key just fits together, you can tell because your fingers do less work now, the keys themselves are easier to press, some times i have to slow down because the words comes out a lot faster than what i'm used to.
I've ordered one as well, wanted to buy a new keyboard anyway, playing sc2 on the Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 from Microsoft isn't optimal, can only use the left part of the keyboard basically. Will update once I've received it, which should be in a few days.

some people just arent made for quality products, razer is so bad. Also i hope you use claw grip because if you don't you should not have bought a g9x.. as it is clearly stated that it was mostly made for that
