One thing that I'm really curious about is the non-NKRO boards. They do indeed have 2-KRO in certain situations but so does my g15 and I've never run into it. The keys needed to trigger it are combinations I will never use. I'm wondering if I get the non-NKRO board then one day go to play CS and find I cant press shift(or control)+w+a+r. Does anyone know of a diagram or document that specifies which keys do/do not cause blockage? Or better yet does anyone own a non-NKRO FILCO that can test? i just ordered the non-NKRO model yesterday should get it by the weekend i can check it out then... also was wondering if anyone knows a place where you can order custom keycaps for this board I remember reading a discussion about the caps at http://geekhack.org/ but I don't recall what the conclusion was, you need to make an account to use the search function as far as I can tell.

My guess is the OGS guys are used to the old korean keyboards that do have a tactile feel and somewhat clicky sound.

Be zen about it; there is no perfect keyboard, no perfect mousepad, no perfect monitor, no perfect girlfriend. Be satisfied with "damn good".

Lol buying a new keyboard isn't going to make you play any faster. Why don't you buy a better computer instead of a better keyboard lol he already has a nice one it's fine. edit: as by request of fake steve + Show Spoiler [apples be warned] +

In that list, the Solidtek KB-6600BU is the only one lower than $100 (although I think it has Cherry Blue switches).

That's a major strike against its ergonomics. I'm guessing, that is a mistake in that particular 3D graphic. There probably aren't any that are significantly cheaper than 100.

I know this keyboard will last my whole life because unlike cheap keyboards, you can replace all of the switches individually. I love it and I will never change from my flico.

I've seen it for sale for ~$80 at a few places. I can't really vouch for Alps or SIIG, because I've never used them before. Just giving you the link because you might be interested, but try to find reviews first Edit: http://www.overclock.net/computer-peripherals/491752-mechanical-keyboard-guide.html found this forum post, very comprehensive, and halfway down, has prices/pros/cons of various mechanical keyboards

I don't think NKRO is necessary or helpful for SC. Also, a big LOL to people who are buying a filco kb because it's what Cool uses. Don't get me wrong it's good for gaming, but much more noticeable for me when touch-typing or programming.

If I were looking for a NKRO 104-key keyboard with Cherry Blues, it would probably be my pick; the price is difficult to beat (in North America - there are other options in Asia.)

It was a Point of Sale Keyboard, so it has a few extra keys and/or different key placement. http://geekhack.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=10581&d=1275628556 Another thing that's fantastic about the keyboard but not on most or any gaming keyboards is the fact that it has double-shot key caps, which means that the labels on the keys will never wear out because it's actually two different colors of plastic used instead of just laser etching or stickers. I would probably never pay more than 50-55$ for a keyboard, but that didn't mean I had to settle for rubber domes. If you stop by geekhack.org and read certain topics, you'll see that some of them got INSANE deals on keyboards, such as at thrift stores (400+$ like-new ergonomic keyboard at a thrift store = LOL).
