At least at the distance my hands are when I play. Also, usb drives would definitely be in the way but I don't need to have them plugged in while gaming. The das is the top contender for me atm. Which did you get from PCHome? Did you just use google translator or is there an english version of the site? And I wouldn't hype up the leopold that much, to say it's the keyboard messiah. It looks to be almost exactly the same as the Filco. And there has been hype over it but it's not close to perfect. The feel of the plastic, to how it wears down and gets shiny, and the too bright LEDs, and lack of usb/audio features makes it good but not great. And wasn't it already uncovered that the keyboard fruitdealer used was not a majestouch but an older filco with different switches anyway? Actually, it sounds like the perfect description, because people have held the Filcos up as the keyboard Jesus. So, considering the folks at GeekHack say that, if anything, this is better, that seems to be a relatively correct moniker. We're basically looking at a better version of one of the best keyboards out there. Being so close to the Filco is an incredibly good thing. There's a reason why people love them so much (and it's not just the progamer bit). And, remember, most keyboard enthusiasts don't care about those USB hubs or media features. In fact, most of them really don't like them. In the mechanical keyboard arena, you're far more likely to find boards without any of that stuff.

http://www.keyboardco.com/index.asp It looks legit enough and they have a FILCO Zero Tenkeyless for roughly 65 dollars (prices are in pounds), but I read that the Zero isn't as good as the Majestouch. Also, shipping is 20 pounds or so (to the US). The Majestouch versions are around 160 USD. Just wanted to post this for anyone looking for FILCOs.

Um...The keyboard company is a widely known company for selling keyboards of that sort. So yes its legit. Most people in the US prefer EKB becasue if you convert the currency, its actually really really expensive to get it from KBC. Emphasis on the really. They also have a wider selection.

Keyboardco is the primary distributor of filcos to the UK, so they are goodness.

http://shopping.pchome.com.tw/?mod=item&func=exhibit&IT_NO=DCAH0X-A50475324&c=A05 using google chrome to translate but it doesn't work since it looks like I need a taiwanese address. It seems there is another "global" version of their website: http://global.pchome.com.tw/?mod=store&func=style_show&SR_NO=DCAH23&tm=u but they don't offer any filcos, just duckys, cherrys and some others. Does anyone have experience with ordering from that shop or feels like experimenting a little bit with google chrome on their website to help me make it work? thanks in advance

it really isn't worth your time. undeirnpirat, they are essentially the same, but the Blues are heavier and make a clicky sound. The browns theoretically shouldn't.

Your only options for a Filco now is http://www.armygroup.com.tw or www.keyboardco.com. There's another option as well but I don't quite remember at this time.

Which keyboard brand is now "the best" to get? Filco #1? Elitekeyboard #2? Is there a big difference between these?
