Howdy guys. I've been having trouble launching since the most recent patch. Whenever I launch the game, the updater works and it goes to the loading screen for just a second, then an in-game error box (sc2 green, with sc2 cursor) comes up and says:
"The launch of this game makes reference to mod or map dependencies which are no longer available."
Then the screen is black and I have to Alt+F4 to get out. I tried reinstalling, but I get the same problem. The game was working fine through the beta and up until this patch. I did have SC2allinone installed during the beta downtime and never uninstalled it, but I'm pretty sure I got rid of all of those files during the uninstall.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how I should deal with it? Many thanks for your help.

I have the same problem now. I can't play StarCraft 2 anymore. I think it's because of the map editor. I tried the fixing program and it said that StarCraft has been successfully fixed, but the problem remains. Any help?

Can you guys give any information on your respective operating systems and computer specs?
I'm sure we could narrow it down and find a solution.

As yet i have been offered no solution either by blizzard despite e-mailing everything they requested (msinfo, dxdiag files as well as all log files.) and after their initial 'have you updated your drivers' spiel, i heard nothing else back from them.
Specs:
AMD Athlon X2 5000+ (2.81ghz x 2)
2g RAM
Nvidia 9600gt
Game worked fine until around patch 1.03 and then the error started. This maybe a coincidence but around the time that the error began, i downloaded the WOW trial client just to see what all the fuss is about so maybe that interfered in some way?
Anyhow on the off chance that the OP solves the problem would you be kind enough to post here please? And i will do the same.

Seems like the only mod file modified by the latest patch is the enGB.sc2data or enUS.sc2data file
That's most likely your problem i uploaded mine it's the enGB version http://uppit.com/4jnd0m8dsmup/enGB.SC2Data try replacing your enGB.sc2data file with this one and make a backup before you do. Located in: Starcraft II/Mods/Core.SC2Mod/

I may have accidentally found the solution. When i started up my computer this morning it randomly decided to run chkdsk, which found and repaired several bad clusters/sectors and when i loaded up the game it worked! So the problem may be to do with corrupted game files or something.
