It's like when only the Terrans and the Protoss had been revealed for SC2. Yeah, I doubt Diablo 3 will come out before SC2.

Not game problems, i'm talking design and attitude problems. A bright and cheery world where heroes do insane WHOOSH and BAM physics-defying NEON FIRE attacks like some sort of cocaine-tripping children's anime is not at all a sequel to two games that were grim, gothic, and mundane-for-the-most-part. Like in d1 and d2, heroes swung weapons, shot arrows, and cast spells. In d3 it's more like they shout move names and do all sorts of cool s**t just to impress kids. Like ULTRA BARBARIAN CHOP!!!!!!!! *small leap, sudden kinetic change straight down, NEON BLUE FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!* lol.. it's not really like that. People have made reviews when they played it at blizzcon 2008, and said despite the brighter colours etc it has the same dark feel like the first one. that reminds me.. I haven't played the first one, maybe I should beat its campaign. Someone else made a good point about sc2 not being pure competitive. sc2 has endless options with fun custom games and such, which I almost forgot about.

I like to play against other people and beat them. Sure D3, you can duel with other people but I highly doubt the classes will be balanced. I will get D3 for sure but of course, it will just be leveling up my char, get my items, and duel against other people. Never liked the endless clicking of killing monsters. Sure it's fun the first time you do it. But after the 100th time of doing the exact same task of grinding your items/leveling, it gets sick.

And I think a lot of the people saying D3 will be too repetitive, or lack of "fast" pvp and pk etc will ruin it, didn't play D2 from the start. D2 at the beginning, before the expansion, when rares were better than uniques and there were no runes, charms, etc, was fucking awesome. The expansion and the hacks and dupes and bots ruined D2. A better, larger, cooler D2 (D3) with actual anti-hack, anti-cheating, would be sweet.

The original, the 5 classes were more balanced (although still far from been balanced which is why I didn't really like D2). The expansion introduced new items/balance that stirred away the PvP environment. I only played the expansion for like 2 months. It was terrible. And like you mentioned NoobsofWraith, the hacks/dupes/bots. In SC2, you can just play a match or 2 and call it quits. Diablo2? You have to sit there for hours doing pointless grinds just to try to get items/level up your char. IMO, it's just a HUGE waste of time. But to each his own i guess ![]()

We actually focused on building a balanced agility/strength for the bowazon for dueling. I missed the days when items were actually unique and you were in the trading room looking to trade items. I was the exact same, except I had a Vitazon with a -40% IAS Chu. I played LoD for a bit, but it wasn't the same. Anyways, I'm not sure TBH. I'm more excited about playing D3 online with friends, but I think SC2 will be a much better lan game.

The colors are MORE subdued than SC1 - look at the zerg, they don't have bright colored splotches everywhere, just a slight 'tint' of that color. It's looking really nice.

Diablo has claimed the lives of many computer mice. Diablo 1 probably claimed a lot of mice cuz you had to keep on clicking on an enemy until it was dead. Diablo 2 changed this; all you had to do was HOLD DOWN the mouse button on the enemy and leave it there till it died. Way less APM and way less mouse deaths :D
