I wouldnt support it if it was implemented like that. I would want to see the message in korean before I sent it if there was translation ._. Like you have a separate inputline thats optional. If you write something there and press enter your message is translated to korean and pasted in your main inputline.

Haha its not asking for like a translation of a sentance just some base words like yes no hold on and their variations when typed in say kor and sent to a eng user it will auto choose to put it in eng. computers can do that pretty much they just blow at making a sentence. Anyways it helps both ends i mean i dont have a korean keyset and i dont plan on getting one so even if i can read korean no way in hell i can talk to them

From the join screen you should be able to see the map and rules. But I find myself in situations where ill go play a korean and when I select my race he'll go ZERG?????. Now we cant communicate, however I then wonder if I might have joined a game which was specifically no zergs or something. If blizzard could just have a little database of words such as zerg, protoss, terran, map names, unit names, no, yes, that would automatically translate to your set language when you played, communicating with people who speak different languages could make the game much better. It would also promote people playing with people in different countries and a greater world wide community. Haha just a thought personly i would like it in BW too...heh Hmm now this post looks familiar... Looks like is a direct copy and paste of a post I made a month ago ![]() I've actually thought about this issue a little more as well since making that post and I think the best way to implement this would be with a text based file that users could modify themselves. This way, blizzard would be able to launch the game with a few words that would be translated over, but the community could get involved and within a few months we could have every second word translated, making communication a lot easier with people of all different languages.

But only few words like "hi", "yes", "no", "ready", "wait", "go" might work. BUT... are they really necessary? Who in the world that has a computer doesn't know those words in english already? Even those who don't know any english still understands yes or no or go. The other way around I can see a purpose. If koreans or germans HAVE to write their own language it might be hard for the rest of the world. Well, remove germans from that. I believe most people knows what "Ja" and "Nein" means. If koreans write in hangul, then ok it's impossible to understand. But making a whole translation thing just because of that is ridicilous. It won't be a big problem since we will have different servers. In wc3, europeans play on europe and koreans play on asia. It is not like in BW where everyone plays on all servers. And since SC2 will most likely use automatchmaking which equals people play where the lag is the lowest, it won't be a problem I think.
