I agree. Trap's PvT is rock solid unless he's against Maru. And even then, it's usually Trap throwing, not Maru steamrolling him like how he does a lot of his other opponents.

This looks like Trap is finally getting his well deserved CodeS, unless Rogue smashes everyone again (which I wouldnt mind either, although I hope that he is still on vacation). We'll see tomorrow, but if Rogue beats Dark I dont see him losing to anyone from these players in RO4/Finals.

I think a Trap vs Rogue finals could be pretty close and interesting. People are saying that if Rogue wins against Dark he wins the tournament, but I don't think this is guaranteed.

1) Rogue has never lost a offline BO7 (11-0)
2) Of the 8 premier tournament victories Rogue got, 6 of them were 4:0/4:1

Man, I like Rogue, but literally any of the other players still in this tournament would make for a more satisfying story than Rogue if they won. Also, I'm still bitter about last season's finals.

I think present day Trap has a chance against Rogue, but I would still really bet on Rogue winning. I wouldn't mind Rogue stomping him in the finals. As much as I want epic and long games, I'm OK with the worst case possible of it being a stomp, it'd just make Rogue look even more dominant. And if Rogue wins this GSL it'll further solidify him as greater than Innovation (right now I think there's still arguments Inno is 2nd greatest or tied for it), and challenging Maru's achievements even more. I do wish Trap has some GSL wins racked up though, we don't have any Protoss to compare to Maru/Rogue in achievements.

Anyway I hope Rogue beats Dark, even though I do love the way Dark plays too.

Bunny I have no idea... Trap should win but Bunny just keeps dominating somehow.

Trap must be so glad he didn't have to face Maru.

Short yet satisfying recap. Great opener about brooms!

Bunny's proxy in plain sight is such a pimp play. Haven't watched that game, but I heard his translated post-match interview where he said that he studied tons of DRG's replays. So it was a well-calculated risk. The preparation format of GSL really brings up such epic games!

I feel like Trap is good enough to beat Rogue in a best of seven. While Rogue is fearsome in long series, I don't think he has a supernatural ability to win bo7s - he just either wins tournaments or doesn't go very deep. The only time Rogue showed a mystical ability to win long series was imo his grand finals against Maru where he looked pretty lackluster the entire tournament until then.

That being said it would be hilarious and unsurprising if Rogue 4-1s Trap with queen walks in every game of a grand finals.

Last time Bunny play against Trap in ST2, it was a close game until it wasnt. Trap kept teching up his army while Bunny staying on mostly Bio units. Hope to see another version of Cloaked Mine and Thor rush coming from Bunny.
If Rogue ever play against Trap, he will be damn sure to look at Lambo games vs Trap, there is a blue-print, Rogue just need to improve it.

Bunny seems strong in early and mid-game, and then just degenerates as late game approaches. That's the overall impression of the games where I watch him lose to S-tier players for the past year or so - a predictable gradual downward spiral. It's like he has not really practiced or mastered late game at all. Not sure about this GSL or recent games though.
