For example, Stats is called the "Shield of Aiur". What's the origin for that? Why is he called that?
I also would love to know if the Korean community has given any nicknames to notable foreign players.

R024 Group B against Dark, Game 2. This game is so crazy. Stats looks dead but won the game. R016 Group D against Rogue, Game 2 Finals against Rogue just today, Game 4 Innovation. The Machine. He plays mostly standard. There are lots of interviews from his opponents who said that Inno's playstyle is so predictable and they don't even have to prepare that much against him. But still Inno won multiple championships. He's known for his AI-like execution. Sometimes he's called robot terran because he doesn't show much emotions during games.

I’m looking for really silly ones now. Rogue being Sexy Boy isn’t too ridiculous except ffs Zest is in the player pool! Why does Inno have ‘Bread’ as one of his listed nicknames? I’m assuming it’s a Chinese one as they seem quite fond on doing pun-based nicknames that don’t survive translation.

He was the errand boy while he was in STX. Errand boy is called a "bread boy" in South Korea.

There's actually not much cross-community nicknaming in SC2, at least compared to BW where TL.net basically tried to absorb as much KR fan-culture as possible. Like INnoVation is just "bread" in Korea (no idea why) while he's The Machine in the rest-of-world.
