I think it's saying that the prosecutors believe they have enough evidence to prove his guilt. Not exactly sure.

Greed, the worst of the deadly sins... The guy is basically on top of the ladder and can hardly be considered "starving". Still ruins everything for himself and the others because of greed. GG no re. So much for the korean scene...

They would only arrest someone like life if it was for sure.

True sAviOr of my Life, too. I think I can focus on my work now. Who can focus on work with all this drama in the air? The one who`s gonna quit following this scene? I dunno. But I put up with sAviOr, Prime and Sonic`s flaunting. And we got Life. I`m wondering if there`s any value left to follow this scene.
There are still good people, during sAviOr time, there were Bisu, Flahs, Jaedong, FanTaSy, Stork, non of them match fix...
In SC2 we have Innovation, Parting, Zest, Byul, Rogue... Don't you think it is still worthy?

I do think the scene will go on even if the allegations are true. Savior's scandal didn't kill brood war.

of course the scene will go on, sc2 doesn't depend on one player.

he made over 100k from prize money alone in 2015, plus add kespa salary on top of that, why the hell would he matchfix? the money get offered to him to throw matches must have been insane. No way he would do that for a couple of grand or even like 10k. But then again, when you're 19 you might now think logically when it comes to things like that
|
@ all Life-fans. On the bright side, if Life actually threw matches on purpose for money, that just means he was even better at Starcraft than you thought :D
|
Even if he turns out to be innocent, his reputation is heavily damaged and it would be really hard to be taken serious again.

Sure, it's scary I guess. But the only people to blame for SC2's poor record in Korea is KesPA and Blizzard, in my opinion. The shit these two organizations pulled early on in the game's history ham-stringed it's esports potential from the very beginning.

What worries me is the line of thought that if Life is involved in matchfixing, who else we can really trust This thing might end up permanently damage the root of the Korea scene for good

On January 31 2016 18:26 alexanderzero wrote: I do think the scene will go on even if the allegations are true. Savior's scandal didn't kill brood war. Maybe, but Brood War was also WAY more popular, and didn't have competing games.
Why would anyone in Korea want to be a spectator of SC2 at this point? League is vastly more popular, and doesn't appear to have the - now fairly consistent - history with matchfixing.

Maybe he is still innocent.
Maybe it was just one game, when he was underage and he was forced to do it, or threatened or something and he won't be punished if he comes clean and indicates the people behind it.
Maybe or most likely I will look really stupid for still having hope, but I just want to believe.
