When we start now talking about Sweden in contra to his stupid "USA is 3rd world non developed country" talks... this thread becomes HLTV.org in a nutshell.

Edit: I didn't mean to insult anyone but myself (since I kind of started both the US conversation and the France conversation). Sorry if anyone feels offended, joke's on me for tryharding to be funny.

Hm, Sweden is in a bad state right now, but we don't have even a fraction of the problems the U.S. has. To me it's irrelevant, I moved to the UK a few years ago. I'm not sure why you have to resort to name calling, it is not like calling a country "not developed" and listing a lot of (true) factoids about the reasoning can be considered an insult. When you watch TV and you see charity adverts for kids in Africa, do you think that the charity is insulting them? I feel bad for you guys, and hope you can join the ranks of the other countries soon when it comes to statistics such as welfare, massacre rates, etc.

Just curious, can anyone be arrested elsewhere for similar charges to Life? Or is it only in South Korea you can be arrested because gambling is entirely illegal there?
I know matchfixing is prevalent in other sports/franchises, but is it actually illegal? Or do you just get perma-banned from participating?
edit: trying to stay on topic

It's illegal in most places, just like how stock trading with inside info is illegal.

In the US, fixing any kind of televised competition (including game shows, reality shows, etc.) is illegal. That law was created after there were a bunch of fixed game shows in the 50's. I don't think there are similar laws everywhere, though...

Reality shows aren't real... but if the showing of reality isn't real, then the showing of reality isn't the showing of reality, thus the showing of reality is the showing of fiction, and reality is fiction what is this world we live in
