Why would anyone in Korea want to be a spectator of SC2 at this point? League is vastly more popular, and doesn't appear to have the - now fairly consistent - history with matchfixing.
I mean, are there really people out there who can follow SC2 matches and would rather watch LoL? I believe that SC2 is the best game there is for spectators.

In these types of scenarios, does the public become aware of the specific matches that Life is accused of fixing?

I can't watch lol or dota, if I want to experience farming for 20 minutes, I'd actually go and play wow

Really unbelievable...
이들은 SKT 프로리그 2015 시즌1 등 e스포츠 '스타크래프트 2' 5경기에서 돈을 주고받으며 승부조작을 벌인 혐의를 받았다.
Is this saying he did it in five games?

They revealed some of the matches involved with the PRIME scandal, but afaik the brood war matches were never revealed.

The timing of this arrest along with the fact that it's been expressly linked to the match fixing scandal last year is highly suggestive that the prosecutors must have the goods on Life. The fact that they elected not to prosecute him last year, but after waiting several months have now chosen to make this move means they must have found concrete evidence in the interim -- wouldn't be surprising if one of the twelve people indicted last year have turned state's evidence. Sad state of affairs.

Wolf did say back during the PRIME incident that some high qualiber players were involved and to prepare to be disapointed.
I guess that's who he was talking about.

He's a young guy. Peer pressure. I can tell you I didn't always make good decisions at his age.
I am still his fan, and if he streams, I will donate.

I guess that's who he was talking about. I'm sort of worried that Life is merely the tip of a larger iceberg. Like, is this the start of the unraveling that Olimoley and others hinted at all those months ago? Have they finally built up cases to go after a lot of the really big fish and Life is just the first of many to come?
This honestly has all sorts of terrible ramifications.

By the way, what sentences did YoDa, B4 and Gerrard get ?

If you love sc2 and watching high level tournaments, then matchfixing won't suddenly make you not love sc2. Maybe you watch the games with a more open mind.
Obviously, if convicted, I've lost respect for Life as a person. But as a player I still think he is one of the greatest and nothing can take that from him. You don't win multiple gsl by throwing matches.

I imagine they'd have pulled in any other now if they were under suspicion too. Sounds like only reason they waited was for Life to reach adulthood.
