Aw, sad. Another fantastic Terran bites the dust. MMA never quite inspired me as much as FlaSh (I mean come on, it's a pretty preposterous notion, considering) but he really showed lots of clever play with this kind of warrior/underdog mentality in the later years and really stepped up with some massive and clutch performances on the biggest stages... had some surprising runs even though I would think that many thought he was well past his peak and had "lost it" in a sense.
Even though he eventually lost the Bo3, he was part of one of the best TvT series I've seen in SC2 against Innovation in a Dreamhack semifinal. Very clever player with a great mentality and personality, but it seemed he had been declining a bit for a while (kind of how FlaSh seemed to do in 2015)... the scene will miss him.

Considering what? MMA was far more successful in SC2 than Flash was, and unless you watched BW, MMA would have been a lot more memorable.
One of my favourite periods of starcraft history was the MMA & DRG rivalry. I always rooted for DRG being a zerg player but MMA always had my respect. It is sad to see him go and I wish him the best
Starting out as a team player, yet having already gone against impossible odds to bring his team to victory numerous times, then slowly transitioning that play into his first title win with MLG and coming back to face Polt at the super tournament finals. He's showed us a plethora of great games, narrowly defeating players in their prime despite being in severe disadvantages, yet it wasn't just his games, but his career as a whole too as he had come back from the SlayerS disaster with reinvigorated play in team leagues and eventually solo tournaments again, culminating with his last hurrah at last years' global finals and semi-final run at the hardest tournament in the world.
He's always come back from the brink of defeat, and I'm sure he'll do so again, should he ever decide to come back to us as a player.
