Yeah but isn't it more proper to have the sponsor before the general name of the league lik yknow Jin Air OSL, Korean Air OSL etc? I think having the broadcaster (ongamenet, mbcgame, now spotv) in the name makes it easier to remember. Plus I'm sad none of the leagues keep track of game# from the beginning (or do they and I actually missed it?) Dunno, 3SL doesn't really seem like a name to remember :< but again, that's just me
On another note I'm pretty sure Maru will make it to the finals

Do we the fan base not in Korea care about the Korean sponsor? Yay they are sponsoring it but none of us can help them see a return buy buying there stuff unless its like Samsung or some other mega multi national corporation sponsoring the league. I like 3SL. It sounds cool

3SL is just a tag so that articles are easy to search for in the forums. You can see in the article it says SBENU Starleague. 3SL and the common name S2SL (when there is no sponsor yet) is only used for tagging and convenience.

Yeah, it is more convenient to colloquially call it 3SL, I don't mind that, my point is all the events nowadays broadcast by spotv don't seem as a longer running series but more like standalone tourneys (Note the actual name not being just starleague but also having the organiser in it, or the continuous match count). So yes, 3SL seems reasonable, you've convinced me, but when I get on liquipedia in a couple of years I personally would feel more comfortable having all the facts like the sponsor and the broadcaster info in there. But, really, that's just me :@
