I'll be looking forward to economy changes in LotV, hopefully it'll improve the pacing of the game. I was so excited to get my paws on this game again after finals week, too. I too think it's more fun on smaller maps. I'm a diamond Zerg in EU. I think I loose more to Protoss and Terran on the smaller maps, but I don't mind, since it's more fun with the action. I vetoed out the bigger maps in the map pool.

All in all, this is only a game to us common folk. The ladder offseason is meant to throw an interesting wrench into what we already know, and it's really silly to get mad and complain about it.

I do play random race, so expecting the unexpected and playing for fun are no strangers to me. All in all, this is only a game to us common folk. So because you are okay with Dreampool it is silly for other people to not like it? Opinions of maps aren't just for the most top tier players, even a Bronze league player can legitimately not like maps. I haven't been able to play Starcraft II for almost a year now due to injury, but I have really wanted to come back and see if I can play again but I have been waiting for this ladder season to end because I just don't care for the maps in Dreampool, is that silly too?

Doesn't seem to me like the dreampool is reason enough to not play starcraft at all. It would be an exaggeration to say that nothing productive or fun can come of it.

This map pool is better than the previous season, even if old. Foxtrot sucks, Nimbus sucks, Catallena sucks, Merry go round sucks, and a Bronze league player could beat a GM on Overgrowth if they accidentally made some swarm hosts. The dreampool has turned into a scape goat, when I'm not even sure it's a problem to begin with. You want problems, how about planning to spend 1.6 million on WCS and not even being able to excite anyone outside of a handful of Koreans allowed to take NA spots. That's an incredibly hard feat to pull off, but they managed it. Or the fact that players can stream themselves cheating, yet you would get banned on a Blizz forum if you were to "call them out." And, they will continue laddering. Until they introduce a map without the opponent being a maphacker, I'll be waiting for why I should care.
