When you say that they aren't team league guys, are you saying that they don't usually perform well in team leagues (likely because they have not put much focus on them in the past, as is true for most of ST) or that they're not streaky enough? If it's the former, I'm fairly confident Life and friends can handle preparing for a player they know in advance on maps they are familiar with.

People want to see bo7 cause it rewards the depth of a team. You could argue that the teams right now lack the players to make a bo7 proleague work and you probably would be right, but still, i don't see what is wrong with having some "lesser" players gain experience and playtime.
With a bo5 we probably see the same 4 core players every week.
I mean it will be great regardless, but bo7 would add to it (season 12-13 is a bad example, the quality of the players on average just wasn't there yet) That's why it's cool to have Bo7 in playoffs, because it truly rewards best team. Neither Startale, Prime or MVP, even Samsung after RorO's retirement is going to be truly competitive team in bo7, but in bo5 they can reach playoffs and then try to check depths. Removing Sundays is a crime though :< Even worse than finals in autumn. Life, San, Curious, Hack, aLive, Leenock, (Parting, Bomber) isn't a team I would rate very far below CJ or SKT in a Bo7. And noone from them is really teamleague guy. On paper of course it looks cute, even cuter than IM last season.
