they have said on the blizzard forums many times that they are not changing the maps more than spawn locations.

Really want to see Neo Planet S in the map pool again. That map forced everyone to play different tactically, even if they could play a standard build.
It's practically Heartbreak Ridge.

Actually the most exciting thing about this off-season mappool is that due to it being potentially very bad, we could see tournaments like IEM or DH use alternative map pools made of community maps

While Season 4 is going on, how do pros practice for tournaments? Just custom games?
Because i can´t think any tournament is going to let a map like Metalopolis be played and many pros practice through ladder and thats not possible anymore. Also, just for the viewers, isn´t it boring to see another 2-3 Months the same maps like right now?
The thing is i can´t imagine atm which maps they will use in tournaments^^

I'm sad Frost didn't make it in, that's still the best map in SC2 history to me.
Ah well, voted Xel'naga, Tal'darim, Bel'shir, Whirlwind, Cloud Kingdom, Hab Station (instead of Frost) and Shakuras.
