I'd have to see how unload speed would work in practice. My assumption is that it wouldn't make a huge difference. Protoss would still defend in a similar fashion with HT and Zealots and Zerg would just make a second spore. I don't see how longer duration jets would really matter.

Don't like the direction of the widow mine buff. I'd prefer manually targeted mines to fire faster. The current widow mines actually punish terran micro. If you focus fire the mines the timer resets and banelings often just kill them without firing.

Sounds great on paper, but when only 1 Terran wins anything, doesn't seem as nice.

Seems like a knee-jerk reaction, but at least they are listening.

While I am overstating the imbalance here, it serves to make a point. Address the actual causes of imbalance and don't use some half-ass patchwork of bandaid-fixes.

As a Terran player, I really dislike idea of buffing mines and the medivac unloading would make harass easier in a way that it would be easier to cause crippling damage to worker lines, resulting in a game thats too easily decided in 1 second, much like the Oracle buff. Bg, Dkim.

If anything needs an unload speed increase, it's the nydus wyrms. Medivacs are balanced around maps so the focus on that is just... strange. Widow mines could definitely use an aoe buff so mass banes aren't as deadly, but there's still the glaring lack of T3. Why can't Thors get their Strike Cannons back or BCs have reasonable build times?

I really don't like how they are still patching towards the direction "let's give Terran some early/midgame timings so that they come out ahead into the late game and eventually win"

I want a game where all three races can trade even with their endgame compositions, not where a race needs to have advantage to just overrun your opponents and win before the late-lategame.

I really hope they change some things addressing the actual lategame compositions with LotV, I don't think it's going to work out with the units we have right now, as sad as it is.

No to medivac buff, yes to widow mine buff.

Terran needs anything right now, either a widow mine buff or a full revert to original widow mine is in order i feel. Mine drops helped keep Protoss from doing stupid stuff and helped Terran deal with mutas.

It was also a more exciting ZVT since it was more or less a mid game focused game of 2 2 ling bane muta vs. 2 2/3 3 Marine mine battling it out for 3 - 4 minutes on end, it was exciting. Now Terran's just turtle on 400 planetaries and turrets while getting mass 3 3 bio while the Zerg gets 40 mutas 3 3, and ultralisks with mass baneling. It is kind of stupid.

Whilst I am not sure these are the right changes.

I do like that they are buffing Terran, rather than nerfing protoss or zerg.

I don't know the right change, but I don't really like the way this change is blizzard saying"please mine drop, please" I believe this strategy is just a gimmick

I am fine with wm buff but avoid the buff to lings and banelings. Random splash hits are too strong to low hp and tiny&fast units.

Why don't they just un nerf widow mines? They never just undo a stupid change they did (oracle speed heheheh)... Buffing medivacs would be pretty stupid though imo.

So true. Whatever they do, they need to reduce the amount of tanks needed for good trades/cost efficiency. I actually think the base damage would really help change that. Because then, there would actually be a reason to build tanks.
