edit: oh, since there is extra a note here that we should discuss seriously, I'll do it serious: Roach/Hydra may be too strong vs Mech in the midgame like that. And probably maybe bio as well (never thought I would say that...) Roach/Hydra probably will be too strong vs Protoss in the midgame like that. In ZvZ this may help a little against those mass roach timings... but probably make it even more roach/hydra focused, since Infestors are now clearly the much worse choice and mutalisk openings may just flat out fall on their face. As well as roach/hydra/viper dominating ultralisks and broodlords in lategame scenarios even harder. | ||

Hydra buff is completly out of context i feel, maybe they played some Broodwar and liked the Hydra busts? Well and Tempest damage increase to buildings.. i dont know. I feel if you just made Vipers abduct "reasonable", which means no stupid stuff such as pulling Tempests/BCs/Ultras, you could already harras and zone out vipers a lot better in PvZ super late game. Maybe abduct not working on massive units would help | ||

People begged for speed during WOL, we got speed in hots. I don't think many people have seriously asked for a hydra buff since hots came out. Also I gj on removing ghost energy to dumb the game down even more. Whats with all the upgrade hate at blizzard? More upgrades = more options = more builds = more diversity in games. | ||

Time Warp energy cost increased from 75 to 100 I think this ability has a broken concept, but more regarding how it affects the game rather than how powerful it is. It lines perfectly with the forcefield: prevent micro at all. (I also think it completely kills terran mech in TvP which is not a problem anyway since Blizzard has always made mech (or let it be) useless in TvP, except when an excellent terran goes against a low-tier protoss. But that's just an opinion after watching it in action, so don't take it too seriously either...). Ghosts build with the energy upgrade built in I'm really puzzled about this. On the one hand I like the fact that the most hard to use caster in the game has its build time/cost/etc. reduced, but on the other hand, I hope it doesn't break the TvP match-up the exact other way around by providing AoE damage too easily for the terran (though for once, both armies would have reliable AoE). Hydralisk cost decreased from 100/50 to 100/25 If this means more hydra based build in TvZ (hydra roach mostly, or hell, even hydra swarmhost, though these should get out of the game for the sake of rythm and interest), then it's really fine. I'd love a bit more diversity in the TvZ match-up which I feel is quite too much Muta/Bling/Ling based (though that's from a personal experience and not on a comprehensive sample). [b]A Passive Tempest ability that allows them to deal 2-3 times more damage vs. Structures[b] I have truly no idea why would that be cool. I have also truly no idea if this is needed or not :D (I suddenly realized that Tempest are nothing more than BW guardians, just also shooting air, wow... great job, retarded me). I do like the changes overall, but holy cow, I'd so dream they'd come up with new and interesting mechanisms/units that would replace boring ones (namely: forcefield, swarmhost, time warp, vikings, thors, corrupters, colossi, and that's already quite many). | ||

Put Chronoboost on the Mothership Core. Lower cost to 20 energy Buff Roach, Nerf Hydra. Make Hydra T1 and Roach T2 Lower PO time. Give it nerf in dmg. Small anti-shield AOE | ||

And this is coming from a protoss player. Sure it might suck for balance at first but that can be fixed; more importantly cheaper hydras should produce more interesting gameplay. People wanted more powerful hydras or hydras with more health or something. This change is gonna kill ZvP, every single game is going to have to be quick colossus and stargate openings are dead. Cheap hydras is honestly the worst thing they could do to make the meta more dynamic. | ||

As far as the other buffs/nerfs, Hydra being 25 cheaper gas will just ruin PvZ. make them have an upgrade like Combat Shield for marines where they get +10 life or something. TimeWarp nerf is a good step, it will take a lot longer to cast 2 timewarps in a row now which is a big reason why Blink is so strong, because stalkers just wreck the weak marines stuck in timewarp. And everyone complaining that it reduces micro ability, there were lots of these abilities in BroodWar as well, the Arbiter had stasis field that locked units for like 1 minute it was ridiculous. PO nerf, it's better than the 30 you proposed before, I would still like to see some sort of MSC vision range decrease because it's basically a floating Xel Naga tower. But this helps with early pressure, won't have as much time to reinforce by the time PO is over, but still leaves the chance to cast 2 not as effective overcharges. But again, I don't think that is necessarily everyone's problem with Protoss, Maybe you could make it so they don't accumulate energy when it is a certain distance away from a Nexus, therefore it would still be good for defense, but not nearly as strong when attacking. And it would force the Protoss to keep it near the Nexus to recharge energy, before moving out for an attack. But it would limit it to either recall, or Time Warp since the energy won't be accumulating while on attack. | ||
