A Passive Tempest ability that allows them to deal 2-3 times more damage vs. Structures Tempests attack far too slow for this to make much of a difference, and that still doesn't make the game any less boring or exciting. To be fair, not everybody consider the turtle styles to be boring to watch/play. diversity is good :D. I have a feeling 25 gas hydras might be way too good. The more I think about it , 25 gas hydras would probably be incredibly broken...but oh so fun! Im welcoming the PvT changes, dont know if its enough but at least the suggestions show that theyre talking about implementing changes. | ||

But my beef is bigger and with the overall game design that won't change until LotV and even then its questionable how many changes will Blizzard make? Like I really, really don't like the colossus and imortal shields. I think the Colossus should be removed from the game, possibly being replaced with the reaver and then removing imortal shields, but possibly making it cost less, so that Terran mech can actually be viable. The reason terran mech in not viable in TvP is because of Collosus and immortal, these two deal so efficiently and easily with mech. Remove the absurd roach from the game as well, its just a really WC3 type unit that has a ton of HP to basically soak up damage and zerg shouldn't be like that, they have many small and cheap units that try and overwhelm you or use in addition of certain abilities to turn the tide of the battle, not on massing and A-Moving roaches across the map. As far as terran goes remove the marauder and bring back the old battlecruiser that did 20 damage per shot, rather than the current one that shoots candy, its like it doesn't do any damage at all. | ||

However, the funniest part of this is that their fix for swarmhost/gglord static d turtle is to make tempest anti building? I love how they continue to do really wierd shit to make their game work rather than address the issues themselves. The best part about this is the fact that it's only a test map. | ||

Time Warp energy increase still doesn't fix Blink problems, vision reduction would. Yes Time Warp helps but that vision helps more. Hydralisk cost reduction? No just no, I hate PvZ as it is without cheaper hydras. I can't comment on ZvZ and ZvT but this will just murder PvZ. That Tempest change, even as a Toss I hate that. If SH are the problem why make Skytoss more disgusting than it already is for PvP and PvT. Just change the SH already. | ||

Leave PO as is. I don't see the gain between 60 seconds and 50 seconds. Almost as if they are bowing to the pressure of doing something about the PO even if they realise a whole slew of PvP HOTS builds are reliant on it. Better to reduce the MSC vision range a little. Ghost buff. No, thank you. Please don't remove yet more upgrades from the game. Nerf P a little first. Then look again. Time Warp enery nerf. This is good. I think it will prevent a full energy MSC from putting out 3 TW one ofter the other. I've never liked the spell, and I'd also like to see it affect friendly units too. So that it is a true defensive spell. Hydra? I don't like this change nor the reasons for it. It smells like Blizzard once again wanting to dictate the meta. Fuck off. The Tempest change is huge. With a lot of unintended consequences possible for all match-ups. I think this should not go through. And I'd prefer Blizzard wait for a while (at least 3 months) before choosing to "fix" late game turtle Z. If the style does become the standard full on Z meta then let P players have a go at finding a solution. If we can't, a change to SH is better, I think, than buffing the Tempest like that. It sounds a cool change. But it is complicated and will be complicated. | ||

I still think this is not the way to go, nerf at damage and adding bonus damage vs. shileds seems the best option to me. And this is coming from a protoss player. Sure it might suck for balance at first but that can be fixed; more importantly cheaper hydras should produce more interesting gameplay. | ||
