I just wonder, if he has not retired, it would indicate he is still under a contract. Probably didn't extend his contract with Samsung, but he would still be under Kespa contract, right? Meaning he would have to go through waiver process.
So how come they just let him leave and not play, without retiring though?

I don't know man I think making Code S is pretty relevant

Carried his team to a respectable Proleague 5th place off a bad start, getting into Code S and shows steady improvement, I don't think that's even near "irrelevant". Plus he is a god damn two time OSL champion.

however he is streaming bw right now ...
Umm this is knda out of context. basically it was jangbi saying he formatted his computer so he deleted sc2 off his computer i didnt really mean it like "omg i hate sc2 i deleted it from computer" He did say on his stream mutiple times though that he is retired so im not sure if he was really just taking a break or not. There's some rumor going around hes going to quit streaming on afreeca though i hope its not true
If he's not retired, I'm a little bit peeved with him that he chose to forfeit his Code S spot during the tournament. Being in Code S isn't a privilege, it's a responsibility. That's why Naniwa got so much hate when he threw his series against Nestea. You can't just do whatever you feel like. Because he forfeited at the last second, another player got a free win. It's impossible to say that that didn't skew the tournament's results.

He earned code S then decided that he didn't want to play SCII for w/e reason. He says he's retired so I think it's best to take his word for it.
