Quantic management should read this...
You paid 1400 US dollars, to a ranking individual within a business organization that you are an employee of, for the purchase of a product on your behalf that met certain guidelines. That individual made an error in that purchase and the product that you received was not what you had requested. The case could be made that you should have double checked, but perhaps the real argument here is that you should not have placed as much trust in the management of the business organization that is Quantic Gaming.
Furthermore, Quantic Gaming, as a business, should be ashamed of itself that a central member of their organization has been caught up in a scandal such as this. An individual that is a member of your management team has behaved like a petulant child, refusing to acknowledged his errors, repeatedly lying to his subordinates, failing to make himself reasonably available for communication, stealing from employees, and making every excuse possible to make it not his fault. During this conversation Simon claimed that his mistake was Masaans for several ridiculous reasons including, but not limited to, Masaan received housing at Simon's house, as if that is justification for him then failing to do what he was responsible for and then proceeding to steal 1400 US dollars from a struggling young man. His behavior is even more inexcusable since he later stated that he intended to slander his own employee to everyone in an effort to justify his mistake.
At any official business this behavior would result in immediate dismissal. As a fan of Quantic Gaming I am disgusted and you should no longer consider me a fan or supporter of any player you employ including watching any Quanitc stream to support add revenue. However, if as an organization you value your appearance and ethics you will promptly fire Simon and order him to repay all funds misused by him. If he refuses then as public display of contrition you should assist Masaan in pursuing his grievance lawfully against this pathetic excuse for a business executive.
I have been a small business executive for years. The company that I work for owns over 20 fast food franchises in Dayton, Ohio area. We would never tolerate this behavior from any employee right down to the cashier in on of our stores let alone one of the executives of the organization and Quantic shouldn't either.

I think the comments in this thread are pretty idiotic though. It would have been simple enough for him to reschedule and let Massan pay the >$150. Instead he kicks Massan off the team after pocketing $1400 illegally. That's why people are making the comments they are about the situation. Pretty much this. Simon reads what Massan said, throws and hissy fit and tells him that it's unfortunate that he paid as a gift because now the money is all mine!!!!!!!1!.

I've made a chat with Simon and Massan, hopefully we can resolve the issue, Simon also has a statement written and may post it on my account when he sees fit. Sorry for any damage this may have caused Massan and the community, for now please be patient.

hope you find a new team soon D:

Shame on Simon for being a horrible person in this situation. Massan is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life and deserves all of the respect in the world. Someone who would steal from him and even tell lies to hurt his image deserves the worst. He's just the Head of the Esports department. He isn't nearly the most powerful person in the organization.
well they're a pretty terrible organization in my book if they aren't taking care of this simon figure

I wonder if he'll use the skypelogs to back his case.

This totally sucks; I thought Quantic had more professionalism than this. Don't understand why he would book the ticket at the wrong time just to screw Massan over.

Wow That skype log...Dear Quantic, if you want any hope of being saved then go into crisis control: 1) Refund MaSsan 2)Formally Apologize for the actions taken by Simon and 3) Fire Simon. Those are literally your only options as I see it :/
I'm sorry that happened to you MaSsan! I hope you find a team that values you as a player and a friend!

Good news though, hopefully this can be sorted, though I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving Simon in Quantic after this.

Sad to see you getting screwed. Organisation ran by a guy who books a member of that organisations travel on their daddy's credit card. Organisation ran by a guy without his own credit card/ bank account Organisation... ??? I hear over in the US they have lemonade stands in the suburbs ran by kids. I bet even they are more organised than that... Edit -
Business, team, organisation, company, who the fuck cares. Point still stands.

Quantic needs to gtfo of sc2 asap!

it doesnt have to do with anything really but it's weird that hes talking about his fathers credit card. When I played for him in CSS, he told us that his father died and he received all his money and became boss of his company. And thats how he was able to afford all this (he's like 21 or something). Now I just wonder if he was lying to us or you

pretty disappointing; sorry to hear now to see what comes next :o

Massan better get every last cent back. One of my absolute favourite streams and seems like a super nice guy. Very scummy indeed.

There could be a problem though with the fact that Massan already took one of the flights, if the flights were booked together and he already took the flight from canada to atlanta then maybe they wouldn't let them change the 2nd part? I don't know but if I put myself in Simons shoes and had someone sit next to me and tell me what to book for them, I book it, and then they come at me trying to get a refund and stuff then I might say it's not my fault because that's what we booked together. We don't really know the details, I just don't understand why if Simon would let Massan live with him for 3 months and pay for his food and etc then why would he intentionally try to rip off Massan? Obviously this wasn't the intention, they booked the flight together. Everything was fine until it was realized that he needed to change the flight schedule. There was no "scam", Massan couldn't contact the airline with the exact details while Simon could. Massan could only ask them general questions whereas Simon would have called with the flight number, credit card information, etc and then ask about rescheduling the flight. We don't know what they told him. Plenty of flights will advertise "hassle free service" which was what Massan was referring to in the OP but everyone should know that what's advertised isn't generally what it's like.

Can I have my HyuN for Christmas already ?
