The English subs are so bad I found them utterly unwatchable. There's like 1-2 minutes of rapidfire dialogue and all the subber does is put down "...", no matter how you see it, that's plain unbelievable. Conversations between contestants are the most important part of the show! Heads up if you are watching the youtube version, the english subbers may have removed some parts of the episode for no reason at all. The full episode is 1 hour 9 minutes.
So relieved that it's fully and competently subbed in Chinese as well. They translate close to everything, even the little pop-up emotes!
Why didn't Yellow go through with his plan of getting 9 wins and saving his ally? It was pretty foolproof, did he plan to screw over his partner from the very start?

He overestimated everyone else and thought that someone else would do it as well. Then he wouldn't be able to save his partner because he'd be tied for 1st and his partner would be last.

Yeah I guess bigger partnerships would be able to get even more than 9 wins, if coordinated perfectly. However if he thought so then splitting the wins 8-1 and hoping for the best would be the strongest safe strategy for a 2-man team, as the spare card will always ensure someone is at 0 wins.
The ending of the card game was really nail-biting too, I wonder if he realized before taking a card that she could just have given another card to anyone else to play a match and strand him with the last card.
man. the subs for ep1 was terrible, missed half the dialogue and the rules...would be good if someone posts the rules of the 1,2,3 game as i'm still confused in regards to how having left over cards effect you. =/

Each player has 9 cards, 3 each of 1, 2 and 3. Higher cards beat lower cards and increase your WIN count. Same cards will tie. Each card can only be used once. You are free to transfer cards to willing players but cannot destroy or dispose of them.
At the end of the game, player(s) with the highest win count will receive a garnet. If there is only one winner, he can pick another player to share immunity with him. The player with the lowest WIN count will go to DeathMatch mode and can pick an opponent for the elimination game. If you have any unused cards when time is up, your WIN count is zero.
One of the basic concepts of the game is simple, there are an odd number of cards, so someone will inevitably be left holding 1 or more unplayable cards, meaning someone will have zero wins.
Yeah the subs are absolutely horrendous. I gave up half way through the episode when I saw the "..." when everyone was having a heated discussion.
thanks tissue. i missed the "If you have any unused cards when time is up, your WIN count is zero" part. so i was scratching my head the entire time. moving on to ep2, much better subs
How did Park Eun-Ji know the final few answers in the Image Game? Was she just guessing? And yet it seemed Sang-min and Sungkyu were passing her the answers. How did they obtain the correct answers?
One of the later games, "Kong's Dilemma" was most likely created as a tribute to him. He also explains briefly how he got the nickname and what he thinks about it.

Its the other way around, sungkyu was the one who decided which was the answer for park eunji. She never actually decided on a correct answer, just the hint. Then, sungkyu will go for the least picked answer and show it to her via the number die. She would use it as the answer. For the first few rounds, her opponent have no idea what her strategy was, but yellow caught wind of it and helped her choose the correct answers. Finally, sangmin betrayed yellow by looking at his die when yellow showed it to her.
