It was really nice to see my rivals(?) after so long~
I took a ton of pictures like a journalist for the blog
but Gura oppa said to cut it out ㅋㅋ
Even when he says that I can’t bring myself to hate him
Gura oppa is a charm virus.
He was also wearing very cute socks hohohoh

I’m really looking forward to seeing the parts of the remaining players ^^*

The Genius game is really popular among celebrities too.
There are a lot of people who asked for a recommendation if there’s a season 2.
There’s an explosion of interest.

5th July - Cha Yuram mentions ‘The Genius’, “I hope Hong Jinho survives”.



2013 Incheon Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games’ honorary ambassador, Cha Yuram, recently sat down for an interview an photo shoot with ‘Billiards’ to kick of July - the month the tournament opens.

Through the photo shoot, Cha Yuram shed her usual girlish image and showed off a new mature charm.

In the interview Cha Yuram revealed her resolution and anticipation for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, and the usually reserved Cha Yuram also talked about how she came to join ‘The Genius’ cast and talked honestly about her thoughts on the show which drew attention.

Cha Yuram said, “I didn’t take part to win. I just wanted to be stubborn and prove to myself that it’s okay to lose to people.” She continued, “For that reason, I hope progamer Hong Jinho survives till the end. Hong Jinho survived without harming anyone else, and fights with his own skills. He doesn’t betray anyone, and instead was consistently betrayed by others yet he still survived. I’m not sure whether it’s because I want to live vicariously through him since he’s doing what I wanted to do on the show. There’s a limit to betraying people, and I want him to prove to the other contestants that you can’t be the last man standing by tricking others”.

12th July - The Genius finals broadcast.

I thought the game in episode 11 was relatively easy, but I think that was because I didn't quite get what amounts to "the same content" in a question. Jinho's trick was smart though. I'm glad Kyungran made it to the finals, Sang Min was way too manipulative IMO (but that made the show probably better to watch)

They only made it two rounds so the contestants could get away with relatively superficial questions. If they extended it another round or two, things would have gotten much dicier. But it was good that Jinho figured out the trick, he would have won regardless.

I was a little sad that Sangmin got eliminated because I liked his manipulative style and his grand gestures. But I loved the way he got eliminated. He went out only as Sangmin could.
