Personally attacking incontrol on his personal stream while trying to do a Q&A on Raidcall is just straight disrespectful.
What a dick
If that his actually him I hope Clarity throws him right off.
Not sure about this guy, but I was glad to see honeybear get weeded out. Some people have no place on such well organized, professional teams (even if it's an academy team).
That said, I'm really glad Winter continues to support young players. I think he can motivate these guys to get really good now that he has a good team to help back up his sick organization and management skills. I hope to see Saikou and maybe mystery hit the main roster if they continue to get better. + Show Spoiler +
(or play more *looks at saikou*)
Also, I'm ready to fight bro. Come at me.
Thank you for the support Luke. Indeed HoneyBear did not make the initial cut, but he is still working towards a spot in the future. And just like Mewbert, if he proves that he can turn his former attitude/demeanor around then he will also be given a chance on the Academy. Everyone makes mistakes when they are young, quite a few normally. I know I did. Everyone deserves second chances to learn from those mistakes. That is what life is about.
Anyway, looking forward to the showdown next week, it's going to be a lot of fun!

One of these days start-up teams are gonna learn not to sign these dudes.
One of these days, but not today apparently. Your decision OP, but thanks to that you're now the team with that piece of shit who feels tough abusing people over the internet.
It's a shame for the other players who made the cut apart from anything else.
I had never heard of mewbyy, but since he joined a gaming team, how about relevant questions to gaming? Does he have a history of hacking or cheating? If he has legitimately proven to be one of the best prospects, then that trumps anything that isn't super egregious. He didn't rape your mom. And even if he did, he'd still get a second chance in this society. I think he deserves a chance on an academy team. If he doesn't prove to be an asset or is detrimental to the team, then... there's an easy solution.
Everyone has an opinion. You might be surprised, but it's not always an opinion of praise and adulation. You simply hear more of those kinds of opinions in a public arena because, frankly, not many people have the guts to say what they truly believe. When everyone already knows what the overwhelming reaction to what they think will be, people tend to suppress saying it.
You guys focusing on him kinda illustrates his point, anyways. Everyone is focusing on someone they don't think deserves a spot on the team, be it skill or personality. Guess what his "beef" was with another player. What makes you guys any better? You could be talking about exciting prospects like Bails and Intense, but they're getting overshadowed by hatred towards another player. If something isn't worthy of attention or w/e in your mind, then focus on the people that seem more deserving of it.
How many viewers would combatex get compared to a mannered player with equal skill? Many people draw a lot of views through things that have 0 to do with skill. A lot of people could do things like cannon rush every game and get a bump in viewers, but many people have more "integrity" than that. In SC 2 esports, sadly, it's not always about earning what you get. If someone wants to have a debate on the subject, then so be it.

That's true he didn't rape anyone... He'd be in prison for that. But, we also have opinions, just like he does and we can openly oppose his viewpoints and voice them in this public forum... Just like he attempted to voice his opinions that he thought InControl was a PoS... We are attempting to let them this team know we will NOT support them UNTIL they get rid of this guy... We don't want him part of our community.
Because people spend too much time criticizing others and involving themselves in the creation and perpetuation of silly drama surrounding the SC2 scene instead of playing the damn game.
My opinion is that the team should disregard any opinions like yours and support Mewby as a player. People who get caught up in the bullshit shouldn't try and claim ownership of the community's opinions on things that don't really matter.
A little advice for Clarity Academy; double check whether Mewbert is actually GM. I watched his stream a couple of months ago and he was mid masters and, no offense, bad. Watch him play. Compare it with older reps, etc... I'm not accusing him of anything based on any solid, but if he's not cheating, he improved very fast, and at a rate he wasn't improving at before.
If he's actually HOTS GM, serious congratulations.

I really find this sentiment funny. If you want, I can post sexist, misogynistic, homophobic remarks from just about every progamer from the BW era. And flames that would make Mewbert blush. TL.net, WGT, Team Canada, even Battle.net forums. Do you want them gone too?
After seeing some of the interactions with Incrontrol, I dont understand why any team would sign such a, to be polite, dumbfucker. Being that arrogant to an important figure in the community is just ridiculous, and I kinda wish I could see that kid at a lan and see how tough and real he would be in front of Incontrol. Id love to see Incontrol punch his face even more. Several times but not too hard.
