While offline, I can go into custom games, choose a map, then choose an AI with the full range of difficulties available. I'm not sure how your issue is popping up. | ||

Sticks essentially doesn't matter, timings don't affect lag at all, overclocking is irrelevent since it either improves performance or crashes, heat is maybe a viable answer, but not when it happens RIGHT after a patch (same with anything hardware related). _________________________________ to reiterate for those who didn't see my previous message: If you're experiencing lag since the update, it's because agent.exe is still downloading, using up virtually all bandwidth. Either wait for it to finish (best option), or just kill the process and run the launcher later. _________________________________ For those who want to play offline, go search for a Starcraft launcher (like this. It allows you to play vs AI offline. | ||

Yeah like he says, If you're lagging, you havn't completed the 6gb patch and you are in a P2P download using all your upload speed which will cripple a lot of people's internet connection. | ||

They're supposed to be completely separate, so it's possible that your unranked mmr can be higher than your ranked mmr if you are doing better when unranked. However, your ranked mmr initially determines your unranked mmr, but they start deviating afterwards. | ||

I was asking because my unranked mmr seemed to be on par with my ranked. which isn't good because it's too hard for my off races. | ||

Anyway, tried some unranked out. Played 5 matches, all players who came back for the update. A lot of people seem to be enjoying it, myself too. | ||

I don't know how to prove this to you; but suffice it to say, once we found out where the lag was coming from (the background downloader) the lag is gone and I am running the game smoothly on extreme again. | ||
