Think it's possible that the lower graphic settings, or lower-end computers, may be having some input lag? Those with issues, what are your specs?

localeidassets=esMX localeiddata=esMX to localeidassets=enUS localeiddata=enUS will change it back at launch the game... Here is a ScreenShoot of the menu, i just dont see a language option. EDIT: well, looks like they are still patching, 20 mins later the option appeared under the last tab.

Those with issues, what are your specs? I'm getting the lag with: 12GB DDR3 Nvidia 560 Ti 448 Cores Phenom II X4 955 (3.2ghz) My internet connection is a kind of okay DSL. My DL/UL is like 600kbps/100kbps. I was running on Extreme before the patch and have tried lower settings but still see lag. (Although possibly less? It's hard to say.) I did play the campaign, which ran perfectly smoothly. I also played some custom maps, which seemed to be quite good as well.

My lag is a lagged response to all actions. If I doubletap a hotkey, that unit won't be selected until like 200 milliseconds later or something. As far as I know, that is not how normal lag works; as long as one doesn't have massive system/CPU lag, if certain commands (like unit selections or camera changing) are issued, the system should execute them instantly without delay. It's like the entire game is being viewed/played remotely. edit: ooooh....... I forgot to check and/or mention the possibility that it's the Blizzard downloader/uploader agent that is causing all the lag. Silly me. Blizzard agent runs for a long time after running SC2.exe, even if you're at 100% downloaded. Aside from uploading to others, It might even be downloading (my network montior was showing massive network input despite being "100%" downloaded) The agent finished downloading several minutes after I played my 2 test games. a game I just started seems to be lag-free now. FYI it was maybe about 50 minutes after 100% where my agent.exe stopped downloading and uploading, at a 1 or 2 MB/s download speed (network monitor was reporting at least 2 MB all the time, but splash screen indicated like 1.3 MB the one time I checked)

Those with issues, what are your specs? I did this to someone earlier as well. It turns out I was downloading the latest patch after they "optimized" the starcraft files. I no longer had issues once I waited for the sc2 screen to say "Game is up to date."

These days...even more and more games...basically you have to have an account to play. Or is it just my game that is missing the "play as guest"?

I think Blizzard wasnt intending this to happend, but maybe they did a mistake and SC2 is working like WoW where the background download is still running even if you start to play. I know they say this was not gona be the case in SC2 but maybe they just messed up.

I cant click on mineral patches, I dont know how many workers are mining it etc. It's an option in gameplay that's disabled by default now that should really be enabled:
