Main Team 6  Action9  Fantasy (captain)3 Light1  Mini3 Revival4 Speed4 SK Telecom T1 Anti Team 4 hyvaa6 JangBi3 ZenioI knew coming in there were three things I wanted: Fantasy (part of the 1-2 combo for a strong SKT1 team), SKT1 as my team, and Revival (he becomes the top Z for EG-TL until Stephano for only 3 points). Fantasy was a steal last round but now he's bumped up to 9 points which limits the rest of the team more than I hoped. After getting these 3 things, I needed KT and I didn't just want some team point leech. Flash would just cripple my team so it had to be between Stats at 7, Action at 6, Crazy-Hydra at 5, or Wooki at 6. Really wanted Stats but at 7 it hurt my other spots. I'm not sold on C-H so I went with Action. After covering the top teams, I started looking for a guy who would see a lot of play with the potential for wins with a price of 4 or under. I had Speed on my team last round and was impressed by his results so I went with him. Plus, I see either Speed or Jaehoon being the next best player on that team after Baby. With 4 points left, I had for awhile Flying (wanted someone from WJS) and Sacsri (just a team point getter). The more I looked at it thought, I just couldn't see Flying getting put out too often over Soulkey, Zero, hOn_sin, sHy, free or Light. The only problem is that I would have to drop my other 2 pointer to 1. I ended up going with Light just because I like his potential so I took Mini as my flyer for the 1 pointer. Anti-Team: Zenio is now the 3rd best Z and possibly the 6th or 7th best player on EG-TL and dropping a spot when Stephano comes. hyvaa just does not look good to me. JangBi could hurt on the anti but I don't think SAM will do well in this format with a lot teams probably setting up a sniper for him and Stork. | ||

I'm not 100% on the schedule for January, but I think most of the EG players should be available to play but you never know. Oh right, Iron Squid... Yeah, probably not advisable to pick JD or Stephano because you will be losing them for at least a week in this round. | ||

First I picked my team, SK Telecom because (what you've heard a hundred times, but I actually made an excel file and it's quite obvious it's statiscally true) with Fantasy + Rain in this format, they are awesome. Then my strategy was simple : 3 very strong players (turned out it's one of every race I went for) from 3 different teams that have an all-kill potential, and with this format, I made sure they also were the "best" player of their race in each team, to be sure their race is not only used by the team as a sniper, but they consider the chance of an all-kill in training : for example if you consider Stats > Wookie (take it as a fact, for the example) I believe chances are Wookie might be used as a sniper more. I also tried to have them in 3 different teams, because if you have 2 from the same team then they both obviously can't make a big streak : if I wanna play for a high points team, I find it very important that my 3 "aces" have the chance to all-kill every round. So in the end I end up having a very good player in every team, and SKT (=Rain + Fantasy, so I sort of have 4 aces all in all). Then I went for 3 1 pointers, from KT and SKT for the "nonamers" and Mini because there is a chance he does well again I guess. As my team anti-team goes, I picked players who I believe are the most overrated in this format in comparison to their points : I don't mean to say that Jaedong is noob for example, but seeing how he lost to Choya the other day, he might not be the most well-rounded player, which is very important in this format. If you have any thoughts, as I've changed my team 100 times (for example other ideas of 3 aces ?) I'm very open to suggestions to improve it! At least this will be fun to follow as I should have some interest in pretty much every match. | ||

And just as in round 1, I picked KT Rolster as my team, this time with higher point value because of their success in round 1. This time I had less points over to use since Fantasy's increase of value from round 1. Since I only had 5 points left for 4 players, I picked one of my favorite players, ThorZain, aswell as 3 one point players.ANTI TEAM I originally wanted Stephano on my anti team but he wasn't available until week 2. Therefore after week 1 I'll trade away Stats for Stephano to my anti team. The reason I picked Stats is because I assumed he wouldn't play against ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/eGXiz.png?1) EG-TL because Flash is starting and hopefully he doesn't have to play against STX either, which I think won't change his point value anything so that I can trade him for Stephano. | ||

Team is also less important now it got nerfed. Possible trades at the end of week 1: Team 8 --> STX soO --> Dear Bbyong / Light --> Revival Will depend on wins / losses as to whether or not I can make these trades but I remain hopeful. | ||

Next I wanted players with All-Kills under their belts, whether it's from BW or SC2, I don't mind. I feel the experience with two, three, and all-kills are worth a lot. I also wanted SKT as my team choice, because they're an absolute steal at 4 points. TaeJa - Felt like a solid choice for Terran, and I had to have at least 1 EG-Liquid player on the roster. I really, really wanted to have Fantasy on the team because I love to watch his play, but at the end of the day I opted for good ole Taeja. Stats - 5-0 in Round 1. Originally I had sHy here, followed by Wooki, but I think Wooki will underperform in Round 2. Stats may have only played on Ohana, but he downed players of all three races including Jaedong and CJ.herO. He's also got three all kills to his name from '10-'11, so I have faith! Crazy-Hydra - This was a toss-up between C-H and ZerO, who I think will both do very well as far as reasonably priced Zergs go in Round 2. In the end I went with C-H For a few reasons: He's pulled off an all-kill before, back in 2011 Winners League. Next, ZerO seemed like more of an individual league player. Finally, Action will not perform as well as Round 1 imo, so we're guaranteed to see C-H in the booth a good amount. Light - Like many others, I wanted Light because I think he's super undervalued at 3 points. I think a mid-price Terran fills out the team nicely, and LighT's got 4 past All-Kills in Winner's Leagues. Hoping for great things from him this round PenguiN - Eh, he's on KT, so he'll bring in team win points. Doubt he'll see any play, but with a name like Penguin, how could I pass him up? Leta - I made Leta captain so I could free up as many points for trades as possible. I also think his race switch to Protoss will be interesting, and can't wait to see him fielded. He's also got All-Kills under his belt. With my fingers crossed, I'm super hopeful that he'll be a total steal at just 1 point. Final note, and it's just a feeling, I think Revival will struggle -If he even sees any booth time in this round. Might be worth it to pick him up for Round 5 depending on how he's doing by then. Edit: Forgot anti-team! Jangbi + Hyvaa, feel like fairly obvious choices to me. I'm hoping JangBi doesn't make me regret this. I don't think Motive will get off the bench much with both Stats and Wooki already on his team. | ||
