the terran, zerg, protoss player divisions should be obvious but I'm kinda curious as to what divisions there are and what it takes to get placed in there ^^

Dougler's Dynamite Main Team 10 Flash (captain) 1 Hyuk 1 Leta 3 Revival 5 soO 9 TaeJa 1 [tlpd#teams##sc2-korean]Samsung Khan[/tlpd] Anti Team 4 hyvaa 5 Stork 4 Trap The big question was, how important was getting the right team, vs getting the right players. Personally, Here's how I'd wiegh the teams in terms of points: KT: 5 SKT1: 5 EGTL: 5 Stars: 4 CJ: 4 STX: 3 Khan: 3 T8: 2 I believe Khan shit the bed pretty hard last round and while they might not be a championship winning team, they're better than 1 point too. Same with SKT1 though, they're for sure worth more than 4 points, I'm not sure that EGTL is worth the 6 points that they cost either. I also think that EGTL, SKT1 and KT will trade wins a lot more this round... So after much deliberation, I'm cheaping out on my team in order to get three heavy hitters: Flash, Taeja, and soO, coupled with Revival who was looking good the other day. Am I crazy? Should I be picking a better team for the team slot at the expense of better players?

Main Team 3 Bisu 4 hyvaa 5 soO 9 TaeJa (captain) 4 Trap 3 Zenio STX Soul Anti Team 5 Crazy-Hydra 3 Hydra 5 JYP So, much harder to create a team then I originally thought it would be, the point system, sigh had such a good team in my head too, still, with the all kill format for round 2 things should be quite interesting. As for my team, team TaeJa, he should be good for points, Trap and soO have done well and I believe they they will be quite solid this round, as for Bisu, well, I just like him and just hope they send zergs against him. Best of Luck to us all.

Main Team 9 Fantasy - Him doing poorly would be a fantasy, and a bad one at that. 2 Flying (captain) - I don't know who the flying fuck this guy is but he looks good for 2 points 3 Light - Gosu player for such a light cost 1 Mini - Code A player, though he was eliminated, he's better than most kespa players I'd say. Also comes at the mini-price of 1 point so I can't complain 3 Revival - OG SC2 player who bosses it up in teamleagues. I hope he does well during EG-TL's revival from their poor state in round one. 8 Soulkey - The key to this team's soul; really solid player that will win a lot of games and is also on one of the better teams. 4 SK Telecom T1 - The best team in proleague; a truly fantastic team. The other teams will be paralyzed at the sheer thought of how much awesomeness SKT1 will rain down upon them. Anti Team 2 Huk 4 hyvaa 7 Jaedong huk won't be played, hyvaa is a bad, jaedong aint gonna be here for 2 weeks.

Onomnomnom Main Team 1 Acacia 6 Action 5 Dear 3 Light (captain) 4 Speed 7 Stats 4 [tlpd#teams##sc2-korean]SK Telecom T1[/tlpd] Anti Team 4 hyvaa 5 Stork 4 Trap Took out my heavy hitter (Soulkey) for Stats so I can get better bottom barrel players instead of having 2 for team points. I think Light will do well. Also switched out Soo for Dear hoping he can do well against Wooki in the first week. My anti looks like it's the same as a couple other people. hyvaa + trap is definitely better than risking it with major and roro

Some basic thoughts about my team's composition: Originally, I had planned to get Rain, Flash, and bunch of unknowns and call it a day. The All-Kill format really favors the superstars, so I still don't think that would have been the worst idea ever. But Flash has been vulnerable in TvT, which makes him a real liability in team leagues for snipers. I eventually decided I'd rather build a team around three players who I think can string together victories than two that I know can dispatch a whole team. So... Main Team 8 Bogus (captain) Originally, Rain occupied this spot, but for three points cheaper, I think Bogus is more cost effective and frees up points for a third ace (not to mention Bogus is in the very small club of people who have beaten Rain!). 2 Flying Obviously with three high tier players, I had to fill out my team with some low end guys. My basic philosophy was "who seems undervalued?". Flying has been pretty average in Proleague, but he was also in OSL Ro4, so I don't think he's worth only two points. I'm not depending on him for a victory, but I'm hoping he won't roll over and die. 1 Mini Again, undervalued. Remember, Mini 2-0'd Naniwa in GSL Code A, so I have at least some faith in him. I don't expect much from Mini; I only want him to not be free meat for other teams, which I think he can manage. 1 rare I have no idea who this is. <3 8 Soulkey Like Bogus, Soulkey is probably not going to be a GSL champion anytime soon, but he's dependable, and I think he can put together a string of wins against any team. Plus, he seems underpicked, and so I'm willing to gamble that he can get me points that no one else is getting. I was going to put Stephano here (who I think is better than Soulkey), but he won't be in Korea for another two or three weeks, which is a lot of missed matches. 6 Wooki Wooki is probably my favorite KeSPA player. Aside from his awesome name, he's seemed REALLY solid so far, and the games he has lost weren't routs. I think he's improving rapidly, and I trust him in every matchup. Under the right circumstances, I think he can put together a two or three kill, and I think he will round out the trifecta of Soulkey and Bogus quite well. 4 [tlpd#teams##sc2-korean]SK Telecom T1[/tlpd] I think either EG-TL or SKTelecom are the smart picks here, given the depth of their rosters. But for two points cheaper, I'll take SKTelecom any day. Between Fantasy and Rain, I don't think there's any team that has a chance of all-killing them. EG-TL is obviously where my heart is, but goddamnit I want a special icon on these forums. Anti Team 4 hyvaa I don't like this guy. You wanna fight? Come at me bro! 4 Jaehoon Jaehoon was the bane of a lot of players' teams last round, having started off really well, quickly being traded off the anti-team, and then promptly losing the rest of his games. I'm betting he'll keep on losing. 5 JYP This makes me the worst EG staffer ever. But don't get my wrong -- JYP is one of my favorite players. Nevertheless, his PvT is still a serious issue, and in an all kill format, that's deadly. I'd trust him to pick a game off of nearly anyone in the league, but they can just turn around and put in a good terran and GG. TL-EG Fighting!

There are two T8 4-point players that seem like they could be great picks for their value, Jaehoon and Speed. Speed did pretty well last round, going 4-2 overall and beating pretty good players like Jaedong, ZerO, and Hydra. However, he lost to Trap and s2 who are not horrible, but aren't awesome either. Jaehoon on the other hand went 3-3, beating Bogus, Shine, and Mind, but all of his losses came to elite players, EffOrt, Soulkey, and TaeJa. Poll: Who is the best 4-pointer? Jaehoon (6) Speed (6) Other (1) 13 total votes Your vote: Who is the best 4-pointer? With Stephano being out for the first match, and Jaedong going to be out for the second (and possibly third?) match, I assume these two Zergs have an opportunity to see some playing time early on. Although Revival is starting things off against KT in the first match, he is playing against Flash which I don't see going very well for him. Zenio did ok last round going 2-2, but he didn't play a ton. With Revival and Stephano being added this round, I wonder if his play time will decrease more. Poll: Who is better of the EGTL Zergs, Revival or Zenio? Revival (10) Neither will play much/perform well (8) Zenio (0) 18 total votes Your vote: Who is better of the EGTL Zergs, Revival or Zenio? (Vote): Revival Lastly, JYP surprised the hell out of me last round. I thought he had fallen off a bit and chose him for my anti-team, but that was a mistake that I regretted later as he went 5-3. This time around he is valued at 5 points. If he continues playing as well as he did I think he would be worth it, but I'm not 100% certain that he didn't over-perform a little bit in round 1.

Main Team 3 Bbyong 3 Best 8 herO[jOin] 5 hOn_sin 3 Last (captain) 5 soO 3 [tlpd#teams##sc2-korean]CJ Entus[/tlpd] Anti Team 3 Ryul2 7 Stats 3 Terminator Bbyong: Best terran on CJ, third best player (behind effort and Hero) - should have a good deal of playtime. Solid midrange terran allover, steal for only 3 points. Best: One of the more hyped players this season I think, but probably worth it. Only 3 points, starting round 1 against STX (although it IS Ohana which every team except KT seems to want to play a protoss on). Second best SKT protoss behind Rain, who is going to be playing Ace, so if they need another toss he will get the playing time. Should pick up plenty of team points, because SKT is stacked for winners league format. herO[jOin]: had a great record last round, and is getting the start against woongjin which makes me hope that he won't play the ace position (effort will). Main concern on my team is this position. Either thinking I'll trade this down to Roro, or up to Fantasy. hOn_sin: also a debatable position. TvT sniper, on a team that's playing against KHAN and CJ, neither of which are terran heavy. Might trade this down to Jaehoon. Last: getting the start against SKT, second best terran (behind bogus, the ace) on STX, got 4th in the OSL, only 3 points? Not sure he'll be a star, but certainly worth looking at if you don't want to pick up the hypemachine that is Light. Unfortunately I lose (and win) either way in the STX/SKT match having Best and Last. Might trade this up to speed or Jaehoon. soO: does anything need to be said here? SKT teampoints, best Zerg on the team by a longshot, only 5 points? wheeee! CJ Entus: I'm a fan, and I think while they're not necessarily undervalue, they're worth their points. Might trade this up to SKT. Main Team Trades I am considering: 1. hOn_sin down to Jaehoon (+1), herO[jOin] up to Fantasy (-1) 2. hOn_sin down to Jaehoon (+1), CJ up to SKT (-1) 3. herO[jOin] across to sHy/Bogus (even) 4. Last down to Sacsri (+1) and hOn_sin up to Jangbi/Roro (-1) 5. Last across to Reality (even) Anti-Ryul2: I don't expect T8 to get many wins in this format, and I don't expect a player like Ryul2 to play often. previously had Zenio and Bisu in this position, but I expect EG-TL and SKT to get more wins than T8. Anti-Stats: Huge overvalue at 7 points. KT has only played him on Ohana previously, but they've got flash starting over him in the first match, what is that? I expect Wooki to play first as protoss, not stats, and I'll eat the KT teampoints. Will trade to stephano if he doesn't show up (again). Anti-Terminator: big disappointment last round, and again of the players worth 3 points, I've either picked them, or expect their team to do better than T8. Should play, but hopefully not very well. Anti-Trades I am considering: 1. Ryul2 up to Hyvaa/Trap (+1), Terminator down to a KHAN 2 pointer (shine, hOpe, Turn) 2. Stats across to HerO (even) Whoo, that was longer than I expected. Thoughts on my team? My reasoning? My proposed trades?
