JangBi: 15 points. Really near disappointment, but performed well at the end. When such a BW monster says that he really loves SC2.. just don't count him out.

HerO: 13 points. Not bad, yes... but he was so expensive that he wasn't worth it. Never used as ace, didn't play the beginning of the round, and 3-3 only.

Bisu: 8 points. Yeah, I know... got carried by my heart. But... it's Bisu. Those points would have been much more useful in another player though. Quite the difference since he was quite expensive at the beginning. But his saving grace that makes him not bad in my main is because of SKT...

IdrA: 3 points. My fault, I thought he would originally play. Still, I believe he would make a quite nice sniper, especially in HOTS since he trains hard and early.

Anti-team: -26, I think it's pretty reasonable. Satisfied here with (Z)

FPL makes proleague so much more exciting... even if the quality wasn't always there, the entertainment was for me far higher than GSL.

I thought Jangbi didn't care all to much about sc2. Did a change of heart happen when I wasn't paying attention? Kinda curious.i

Can I ask why anyone would want to pick an expensive player as their captain when you can't trade him as opposed to picking a 1 pt player and trading your important players when you need to?

I think the logic is that if you're going to bind yourself to one player, he may as well be one whose likely to produce a lot of points. Plus there's probably a bit of favoritism toward certain players involved... There may be other reasons, not sure. You're right though, your way allows more flexibility if you want it.

Side note/dumb question: winning streaks carry over from round to round, right?

Because if you pick a solid high point player who you think is going to give you a lot of points no matter what, you calculate that you won't have to trade him, while low point players are more random picks where you have to get a bit lucky to snatch a good one. If your low point player(s) completely suck and he's your captain, you have no option to trade him for a better one.

Like if someone had Sea or Horang2 as captain this round, you wasted two points with no return at all while you could have traded for a decent player if they weren't your captain.

In all-kill format, kill streaks will probably only count over the course of a match (that's how it was handled last Fantasy GSTL) . In the usual format, it's more likely, but I'm not quite sure about that , since they'd have to factor existing winning streaks into the new player values they assign, don't know if that's too much of a hassle or they'd simply ignore it.

my anti team really screwed me over, should of took more time to pick it, first week i had baby which i then traded for effort thinking he'd do worse than him since he was the only real choice to trade with ended up earning me -20 points =/
then bisu for -8 and idra for -3

overall i did ok for my first ever fantasy ,#331 overall and #164 terran users

Can't wait for round 2 sign ups. Assuming that's gonna be up sometime tomorrow so we have ~24 hours to sign up before the match on Friday night. Curious to see what point value adjustments will be done, as the trade values shown in the stats page currently seem way too low. Seems 1.5x those value looks to be more or less right and then some adjustments afterwards.

It looks like everyone has had their points adjusted in the stats page. Bold move to have EG-TL at 6 again considering their performance. I do anticipate them to do much better this round though.
