Sniper also fell out 0-2 to STC in R2 -- they prepped for GSL and will save strategies for GSL, not use them in the early rounds of IPL. People seem to be forgetting that your entire army should not be able to be fungaled. 1. You should be split 2. Collosus in front -- focussing infestor 3. SOME templar near front to storm eggs/brood lord and feedback infestor/queen 4. SPLIT ARC w/ Stalker 5. Mothership NEAR front so that the zerg cannot poke in with Brood lords w/ out fully committing with rest of army (for fear of getting double vortexed directly on the brood lords) As for attacking into zergs, protoss should not be doing that until they have their ultimate/unbeatable army of carrier/mothership/2 collosus/arcon/high templar. Rely on warp prisms to force zerg into attacking you -- then engage the zerg in the open if possible. This egg change will also make it easier for late game engagements -- Since zergs must now actually have some roaches since infested terran eggs will die so easily before even hatching. Hope ^ helped. I can write a similar how-to engage for terran if people are interested. Maybe I'll even make a full guide, we'll see. So while Protoss and Terran have to do all this preparation before engaging, what exactly does a zerg player have to do?

First of all, a PSI Storm on Eggs will not kill said eggs due to passive health regeneration. Furthermore, if regen wouldn't be there and if a PSI Storm hits whenever there is 3 seconds left for an IT to spawn, they will spawn with full health before the storm finishes. Now you have spawned ITs' with 60% of their life still there after the last storm tick. IT spawns with full health regardless of damage done to the egg.

Like the rest of the whole game. You just build some workers and wait for him to move out. Then you pump units 1a. No big deal. I was a proud zerg fanboy once. Now I hate all ZvX matchups. If I watch GSL I can't find any satisfaction in cheering for any Zerg (except for the poor nooby Jaedong who has to learn a lot about the usage of Broodlords). The only thing I like is seening Zergs getting stomped before 14 minute mark. Not because of the winration afterwards - but because I don't like the "ZERGY" factor of free supply crawl armies. It just looks stupid.

Free units from the sky (broodlings) + units that cost only energy with tanky eggs while spawning + movable "static" defence, makes a fuckton of clusterfuck shit that doesn't even cost you real units but can kill real armies - any nerf to that is good.

Lets just create absolutely overpowered units for each race, and somehow balance it around these units. I mean, look at broodwar - how was 75 mineral vulture with 3 spider mines balanced? How was lurker okay? What about reaver with its insane splash damage? In todays terms, these units are absolutely OP, but still, every race got few units like this, so it was ok.

What about instead of these small nerfs, like 5% damage here, 3% speed there... what if blizzard take the broodwar path - lets buff the infestor, give fungal 65 damage... buff the tanks, give them back their 70 damage, and make them much cheaper.... buff the colossus, for example make it attack slower, but deal 100 damage etc. Lets just create absolutely overpowered units for each race, and somehow balance it around these units. Yup. Cheap, versatile, high dps, but low health and tend to clump together so die easily to AoE. Meanwhile we have units like the infestor that have no weakness can are massed like marines in the late game, and Blizzard took away a Terran's ability to damage/kill Zerg in the early game.

Seriously grow up. Don't stomp your feet, kicking and screaming, slamming your door, and complaining that it isn't fair.
