Ok....

This drama is REALLY long and really hard for me to follow...

Is it possible for someone to summarize this WHOLE drama in one or two sentences? If so, can someone do that? Such as who is the biggest and main culprit, where everything started from?

If not then I can understand....no need to be sarcastic, because I am sure a lot of people can't follow this whole drama.
Regarding the imbalance, hilarious to see Zergs defending themselves....

Everyone should just stop talking on both sides and let it be, say their forced apologies and let this thing die.

MMA should just go back to playing and find his new team. Boxer is leading SKT1 now, so he's focused on that. Jessica should, well, just do whatever she wants with SlayerS.

It's such a pity to see my favourite Korean team go down like this, but I just want all this drama to end. I don't want personal phone calls being released...

I wonder if Jessica really was saying stuff to Boxer like "Why didn't you use this strategy?"... that's really over the line.

I agree with this. Didn't they both apologize in their statements already?

No. The only way people can summarise the entire thing in a couple of sentences is by being extremely biased or vague.

People did stupid stuff and were influenced negatively by people, there was a lot of distrust and bad communication between people which led to a breakdown in relationships and the team.
And ESF were behaving negatively towards Slayers.

I think they apologized to the fan/community but not to Jessica directly. Also, I think Jessica wants MMA and crank to admit they were wrong.

re: Jessica's interview....

Every time something gets raised about an issue with management, she doesn't answer the question itself directly but goes off on a tangent about how generous she is. Any problem has to do with someone else. Absolute classic inability to accept responsibility.

It's about a balance of probabilities to me. What is a more likely source of problems, a single manager who has been shown to have issues with blame, accepting responsibility, and dealing with people (i.e. extreme self-image issues impacting an ability to think rationally about issues since said person cannot, in their own self-image be 'wrong' about anything), or, several different players all spontaneously lying and spreading problems for their own greedy, nefarious, but unexplained purposes in such a way so as to implicate a manager and make it look like issues with said manager being unable to accept responsibility/have emotional outbursts/be generally unsuited to managing people in a way that fits with said managers past?

I'm sure there are a range of factors that led into this, but I know where I think a large portion of the responsibility sits. The picture is absolutely crystal clear to me.

It's just so sad, tragic, and disgusting all at the same time too. I feel so bad for BoxeR and the rest of the team. I even feel sorry for her. She shouldn't be allowed anywhere near any kind of management responsibilities for her own, and everyone else's good.

You have to consider that Jessica is actually a famous actress in Korea, and she is managing the Slayers team out of goodwill, she doesn't even make money out of it but she fully supported the team: housing, food, transportation, hospitality.
Of course she couldn't commit to managing the team 100%, and this is when people inside the team made their own choices without her permission.

like someone said above, thats how certain female with a disease of character and attitude "win" their argument. Im not pointing my finger specifically at Jessica on this but thats what Ive seen in real life. They win but people call 'em bitch and stay the hell away.

EDIT: Ignore all this as this part of the translation was completely wrong according to user storywriter on this forum. Based on storywriter's corrected translation, the two sponsorship deals in question NEVER EXISTED.

The part of the translated article that really stood out to me was the question related to the "embezzlement" claims that Manager J accused Jessica of to MMA in private conversations:

"Q: What do you think of his comment that the individual sponsorship offer going to BoxeR instead?
A: I definitely said that is not true. MMA indeed asked BoxeR about it and BoxeR then asked me. I was actually very sad when BoxeR asked me back then. I said, 'I know your [BoxeR] personality and why would I not tell you this.'
What I later found out was that company N and company S offered sponsorships for MMA but they went to BoxeR instead. Sponsorship matters were dealt with by manager J, so I directly contacted related parties in those companies to confirm. However, they didn't even know who manager J was. Do other StarCraft 2 teams' players have the same questions and do managers answer them? I really do not understand this issue."

I'm confused trying to understand this though. From what I gather, Manager J accused Jessica of embezzling sponsorship money to MMA. MMA believes him so MMA asks Boxer if this is true. Boxer tells MMA that he will find out and goes and asks Jessica if it's true. From the first part of Jessica's answer up above, I think she's trying to say that her reaction to Boxer was sadness, asking why he would ask such a thing of her, since that's something she would tell him about and not hide from him?

After that Boxer goes to tell MMA that no there is no weirdness going on (from MMA's interview)

But Jessica then claims here that she "later found out" that two companies offered sponsorships for MMA but that somehow they ended up going to Boxer instead. The rest of her answer I couldn't understand what she was trying to say.

If that's true, that is a MASSIVE MISTAKE / OVERSIGHT on her part. She tells Boxer that no money or sponsorships have been diverted from MMA when in reality TWO sponsorships were "taken" from MMA and sent to Boxer.

If I was in MMA's shoes and found out about that... I would be incredibly pissed off. I would feel like I had been lied to, and I wouldn't trust anything my managers said to me any more.

Seriously, that is a HUGE goof up on Jessica's part for telling Boxer everything was fine before actually going and finding out what the hell was going on with their sponsorships first.

I probably shouldn't be like that because it could be just false judgement. But, just by the way how Jessica answeres the claim, I just CAN'T belive her.

No. The only way people can summarise the entire thing in a couple of sentences is by being extremely biased or vague.

Crank, MMA, and a few other players had miscommunications with Jessica, Cella, and Boxer. The players believe management is at fault but the management believes that the players are at fault and demand an apology.

Easy.

Edit:
Q: Is there anything else you wish to say?

A: I am really tired now. The essence is that this is who I am. Even if one is a sworn enemy, I do not abandon him or her if one accepts his or her mistake. I would even forgive him or her. But not like this interview. It only reveals deeper truth. There are still more to be revealed than what was already revealed. I didn't reveal everything and showed only this much because I was afraid that remaining fans will leave the scene when more is revealed. If you have no evidence to back your claims, accept your mistakes and apologize. Then I will forget everything and forgive you.

I don't like this sentence at all. It really makes it seem like she knows that what some of the things the players have said are true but they can't prove it so it's as good as lying. Whether she's in the right or wrong about the argument at hand, I really dislike how she's recording conversations she's had between people. It seems really cold of her. It's as if they were never friends. And she's talking about her reputation being at risk? The article that was released saying SlayerS was disbanding pretty much blamed MMA, Alicia, and Crank for everything and said they shouldn't be in eSports. That's worse because they still want to be players and look for other teams, Jessica is out of the management business--at least in eSports.

Now Jessica will keep going and going and going, this is another shinning example as to why this kind of personality can not lead a team, she simply can not let go. Everything should go her way other peoples feelings and opinions are irrelivent and she will never come to the conclusion that she as the team manager in the end is responsible for it's members making a mess of it.

She married a legend she should think of him to, but he to will suffer under this chicken bitching wich in the end has no winner.

Every one say sorry and close the SlayerS book, so that we atleast have the cool memories of GSTL and MMA winning GSL.

I agree with this. Didn't they both apologize in their statements already?

I think they apologized to the fan/community but not to Jessica directly. Also, I think Jessica wants MMA and crank to admit they were wrong.

MMA:

TIG: anything else you want to say?
Mma: I want to thank boxer and Jessica for making me a famous player as well as giving me an opportunity in slayers. However, the events that occurred up until now have affected the team in a very bad way and I have also gotten hurt. I want to apologize to boxer and Jessica about these events.

However, I want to state that jessica’s interview in many ways were distorted and a lot of players received unnecessary blame for it. That’s why they agreed to interviews. I apologize for making the fans worry so much. I would also like to apologize for any wrongdoings done by the plays, on behalf of the players. Again, I am very sorry.

He thanked Jessica and Boxer. He apologized to Jessica and Boxer. He apologized to the fans and also on behalf of the players. I personally think MMA's statement was remarkably diplomatic, minus the part where he talked about Boxer and Jessica, but apparently that part was true (as Jessica later corroborates). Otherwise, he admits his wrongs and explains things as he sees them, and large parts of Jessica's statement agrees with his. (I am incredibly confused about the two personal sponsorships that were supposed to go to MMA but went to Boxer instead? Can anyone clarify this for me? I just don't understand how that can happen, and it seems that MMA's worries were somewhat justified in that case.)

Crank:

TIG> Any last words?
Crank: This interview wasn't to show that I am innocent. But I wanted to show the other side of the story instead of just having one person saying their own opinions. And I felt that it was too one sided.
As I say again, I don't think the road I took is the best way. But I just wanted to say how much I worked for Slayers. I can't believe that I worked so hard for the team and now they are making me as a liar. I can't understand that.
But I want to apologize. Even though there were reasons for my mistakes but I am sorry for the parts where I have misbehaved.

Much more ambiguous, take it as you will. Don't get me wrong, I can't blame her for being a little infuriated at Crank's behavior seeing as how things played out -- he is quite stubborn -- but you can't say that he didn't issue an apology, because he clearly did, specifically for his "misbehavior" (I'm assuming this is re: the phone conversation).

Am i understanding this right that Jessica wanted to "sell" MMA´s contract to a (foreign)team, and after this failed she tried to give away him to TeamLiquid for free without his agreement?

Is it even possible to "sell" contracts without agreement in the Korean law?

I dont understand a fuck of all this drama -,-

Please someone explain this without all the bla, bla, bla. And yes i read the article and the previous ones but i just cant wrap my head around it.

My brains tells me: Boxer supports evil Jessica. Jessica destroying SlayerS by treating players like animals. MMA & Crank get blamed because they made the bad behaviour of Jessica public? Now Boxer and Jessica are bullying MMA?

Jessica is now trying to save her ego by using Boxers name?

This about sums it up? If not please make me understand *_*

Very possible that Jessica was looking to have a firm deal with a team before proposing it to MMA for approval. She mentions that there were a few offers but she never mentioned them to players before they were more concrete as she did not want to get their hopes up for nothing.

In other sports it's completely normal for clubs to have a deal on a managerial level before talking personal terms with a player.
