SlayerS wasn't part of ESF and that's what kick-started off all this drama, glad you're not in charge lol.

Seems like the whole situation is turning into he said she said, im right your wrong. Everyone seems to be at some sort of fault, and everyone shall suffer, granted the players will probably suffer more then anything which sucks :/

I was going to attempt for the sake of peeps here. But I am retarded and I realize how much work the translators do here...ㅅㄳㄱ. Trust them with big stuff like this.

I read the phone call too and I don't get why Crank is getting all the hate. Jessica seems to think that Crank lied about not joining a foreign team but Crank makes it clear that he was leaving the team because it was going way downhill (he didn't even have a contract). Boxer doesn't seem to share Jessica's view either (he never explicitly says that Crank lied and says something like "you're going to have to deal with all the crap we give you only because you were the first to leave the team"). Also Boxer's comment about Crank being at fault because he didn't handle MMA - seriously? Why the fuck would you leave handling your star player to another player? WTF are managers for? I would say Crank is the scapegoat here.

if in effect, Crank did leave SlayerS to join a foreign team (that's what happened, effectively), then you can't really blame Jessica for feeling lied to.

I don't understand this though, you can't just join another team then claim you left the team already.

He had no contract with Slayers.

Whether you have a contract or not shouldn't matter. Morally it's pretty damning, whether he can be held accountable due to contract or not.

Because at the time crank was the co captain?

... fine, you'd leave handling your star player to your 'co captain'? There's no excuse for Jessica and Boxer having neglected the players.

So Slayers had to operate on trusting the players not to jump ship whenever, yet the players didn't trust Slayers and they were wrong to not trust Slayers instead of trusting Mr. J. Sounds like bull shit to me. ESF should put every player on contract from now on to prevent crap like this.

Yeah, the pone call is just here to divert from MMA's interview.
People say "you see ? Her threats were'nt empty ! She released the phone call !" So even if the phone call doesn't contain anything, it's the "proof" the masses wanted, even if it proves nothing.
It seems that Crank was the manager de facto of Slayers. Things were falling apart, then Crank became the "manager", then he could be blamed for everything that happened before. Basically it's like a fraudulent company that is going to get sued and that hire a new CEO just before the shitstorm as a scapegoat.

Not being paid is pretty ridiculous too. If you have people under contract, they have to get some compensation.

Even if he had lied, Jessica has no right to be ruining Crank's image like this. He did not have a contract and was not legally bound to not join another team. IMO, Crank could have just packed up and left without a single reason and Jessica should have left him alone.

One does not simply cross Jessica and expect no repercussions.

If MMA and Crank didn't have the courage to confront Jessica about the rumors... then to me, that speaks badly of Jessica as a leader and a manager. To be a good manager, you need to foster an atmosphere of trust and candor; even if sometimes you cannot be 100% transparent with what you're doing, players should never feel afraid to talk to you about something, especially if it's business-related. I get the impression that Jessica was a pretty terrible manager, and living in those conditions, it's not surprising to see this blow up into one big drama.

Morally, perhaps, but then again everyone has different morals. I think he handled it poorly but shouldn't be treated so hatefully. He wanted out of that horrible environment and was obviously distressed from trying so hard to improve things to no avail.

I'm just curious, and this may be an aside, but are B-teamers on KeSPA contracted?

Wait, you can read Korean? ...So you can translate this?! Please?!?

Basically it's like fraudulent company that are going to get sued and that hire a new CEO just before the shitstorm as a scapegoat.

If the employees form a niche group and do not respond to the requests or inquiry of the employer, how are they hiring him as a scapegoat?

Because at the time crank was the co captain?

Yo if people keep bringing logic into this thread it's going to start to stifle the "drama feel"... If you could keep anything borderline sensical to pm's please.

Sorry my mistake. Burn players burn. Empress jessica shall have ur undeserving heads buahaha

On the real though. Everytime a player comes out with a statement jessica releases more info in the form of hard evidence and said player gets fucked. Look at esf. Then alicia.. now apparently crank....
I now have autographs of both BoxeR and NaDa. I can die happy. Lim Yo Hwan and Lee Yun Yeol FIGHTING forever!

... fine, you'd leave handling your star player to your 'co captain'? There's no excuse for Jessica and Boxer having neglected the players.

You think the manager of Startale is going to be walking around each day and help the players? Actually what about FXO, Choya is handling the affairs there, not some manager. Actually FXOBoSS was even pissed at Choya for being part of the eSF ban.

if in effect, Crank did leave SlayerS to join a foreign team (that's what happened, effectively), then you can't really blame Jessica for feeling lied to.

I don't understand this though, you can't just join another team then claim you left the team already.

He had no contract with Slayers.

So Slayers had to operate on trusting the players not to jump ship whenever, yet the players didn't trust Slayers and they were wrong to not trust Slayers instead of trusting Mr. J. Sounds like bull shit to me. ESF should put every player on contract from no on to prevent crap like this.

SlayerS were never a part of ESF.

I know, I'm saying that from now on.
