I don't think it's that hard, the problem is SlayerS was rich and it led to their demise. - They were the rich team when they just started out, Boxer had money, they had sponsors, they lived in a nice teamhouse. - They had money from sponsors to go to NASL without worrying like all the other teams. - Boxer had money to keep the team running while they lost sponsors - ......
If I were Boxer, I would cry at this situation. Having been through a lot, Boxer thought of creating a team with excellent environment for players to practice, in the end he ended up making a bunch of spoilt brats. If I were him, I would somehow blame myself for ruining these kids. Why do you have to go through all these hardships, Boxer T.T
He joined SKT a while ago, one of the most successful teams in BW, now a sc2 team. He is probably happy right now.
Any tldr translation of this would be much appreciated
coach won is a great guy etc etc.. he banned us from training with tsl and slayers but that ended after one month, we were also shocked that he told us to not train. but he is a great guy i wont be in this team if he wasnt..
Ace seems like a guy with enough character to tell it like it is. But maybe that is because I'm an Ace fan ... he is right in that very, very, very few players have ever left ST.

from what he wrote.. he was trying to help the coach. but he kinda made it worse for the korean fans when i read the comments.

He did confirm that there were temporary embargo against TSL and SlayerS. However, the reason he put up that post is to defend the Startale manager, as most of it consists of Ace talking about how great of a guy the manager is and how he is the reason Ace stayed with the team till now.
It seems to have backfired though because the community is now more hostile against both him and the Startale manager after reading that post.

I think he will be revitalized in SKT1. He just has too much passion for all things SC. My bigger concern is with all the other "big losers" of this fallout. Cella put his all into coaching the team. Genius is still sticking by Jessica/Boxer. With the former not really having the talent to compete and the latter was already having trouble finding a team, what will happen to these two (AFAIK) good guys?

Aw, that is unfortunate. Good intentions, but people like to flare up so much ...

So the responsibility is the 'spoiled kids' not the management? I would say anyone can have money but not everyone could run a team. Nokia fall behind not because the customers are stupid it's because their management team sucks and didnt grab the chance like any other competetors.
Wonder if the entire team concept is going obsolete. One has to ask, why even join a team if this is a 1v1 game?
In BW it made as there wasn't a decent match making system, so you needed the practice partners...but now you can get decent practice in on the ladder...and for specialty maps, you can practice vs friends online.
In BW, most major tournaments were in Korea and being part of a team was a stipulation to get into tournaments. Now many tournaments are overseas and are much less restrictive when it comes to admission.
In BW, the major tournaments were made for TV and studio events...now the key is streaming and online tournaments. Living 'locally' is so much less important now. This is just the start...with online events being the new norm, this favors much more so individuals over teams.
Yes, teams can do a much better job of getting sponsors...but the diseconomies of scale from a team (having a team house, manager, maid, etc...frequently outways these benefits and we see so many teams go under. I seriously believe the 'White-Ra' model is the wave of the future and that we won't see the current team structure we see now in the future.

from the translation on the first page. i got "my coach is a great guy! stop bashing him, yes he did tell us not to practice with slayers. but he changed his mind really quickly (a month)! so hes a good guy!"
he doesn't really add any legitimacy to the coach by confirming that he did endorse the embargo against slayers.
A Fomos article has what appears to be a preliminary statement from eSF chair Mr. Won (also Startale head coach). It seems unlikely that this is all the eSF has to say, and more will probably follow. But for now, here are the statements from the Fomos article.
"We have things to say as well... ...we admit to a degree that there was friction with SlayerS, but it's not something over a couple of days, so if one side comes out emotionally, the problem can't help but expand. It's unfortunate that this situation occurred."
"If we really wanted to ostracize SlayerS, we could have excluded them very thoroughly, but that's not the case at all. Instead, we did a lot together, and worked to treat them the same as other teams even though they were not part of the federation... ...there was a time where [players were] ordered not to practice [with SlayerS players], but it was only for a short period. There is no ban now. At the time, SlayerS kept acting selfishly, so the teams had no choice but to cooperate and penalize them."

Yeah but it's like him saying, well yeah it sucks for SlayerS that they couldn't practice with us but that's not my problem so I'm all cool. Basically, ST coach is cool if you're on his side, otherwise you're fucked.

Yea he did, it seems. There is a screenshot image of his post that's going around though..so he can't undo what he did. He probably took it down after seeing how the communities were reacting to it.

He just posted another message, is it the same or an edited one? :/

What does that mean? How could they exclude them thoroughly if they're already refusing to practice with them? Does he mean to ban them from GOM GSL? ESF does have an influence on GOM. They could boycott GSL if SlayerS and GSL would be forced to comply... just like Kespa
