Because you know that is exactly what happened right?
The way I see it is that at the time Slayers was the only team with money, so they wanted to play foreign leagues, but the other teams didn't have the money to send players, to to protect their interests they wanted no Koreans to attend foreign events. Slayers wanted to send players, so to prevent them from doing that the other teams decided to have a practice embargo. Sure it sucks, but I can understand the other teams position as well.
To be honest no one is getting away looking good here at all, which can only hurt the Korean scene at the moment.

That's a very nice way of saying "we screwed them since they wouldn't do what we want".

I wouldn't trust them on the "short period". I had looked at GSL interviews in April and May, and none of the Slayers members thanked any practice partners outside of their team. In fact, going back further in the months, I still don't see them thanking members of the ESF teams for practice at all.

t all started when Slayers decided not to join the Federation. Its just that simple. Slayers had the best sponsor (Intel) at the beginning, they had Boxer as their icon, they won GSTL twice in a row, so the Federation thought what a cocky motherfucker who thinks she can succeed without joining them lets teach her a lesson.
Despite my respect to Jessica's courage, passion and decisiveness, she lacked the intelligence, experience and management skill to deal with what Federation gonna throw at Slayers. The fact that she believed in everything the coaches from Federation told her about NASL and the practice restrictions proved that she didn't even predict that Federation was going to do something on her team. I even believe that Mr J comes from the Federation as well. I can see why the young players were easily influenced by the boycott from other team since the Manager didn't have the skill to shield them from all these.
The killing blow that proved Jessica is no manager material was when she decided to discontinue some foreign sponsorships and thinks that she can run the team by her own. Unless the team is owned by Abu Dhabi or Abramovich, u need steady sponsorships to bring your team to a better place. What will the players think when the manager cut off sponsors? "For god sake our team will never be rich enough to pay us salary one day" Be realistic, the players gave up studies and other job, hoping to make a living with pro gaming. If you really care for the players, sometimes u need to put down your pride and meet the sponsors requirement.
This is the saddest day of my SC2 life, not because of the Slayers team, but we might never see Boxer coming back as a progamer anymore.

As for Sc2 slowly dying, not yet. OGN just came in and kespa players. GSL is sustained by foreign monies(us) so I'm doubtful they can die and OGN isn't tanking yet.
So yes, Slayers has been deadish and no SC2 doesn;t look like it is dieing, in my opinion.

Only reason why Kespa was special is because of their governmental influences with AirForce Ace so that players will have a brighter future in progaming.
Now that Ace have disbanded because of StarCraft 2's failure, Kespa is just any other organization that is dwindling in shape.

seems like two things happened to MMA,
1. became a star, getting a big head and thinking he is special 2. the "J" fellow catching on to this, and feeding MMA malicious thoughts in an effort to get MMA on to his new team.

Alicia is looking pretty bad in all of this... but I still don't see what's with the big "MMA" incident? Okay... so he believes that Jessica was embezzling money, that kind of belief doesn't come out of thin air. There must have been a lot of bad blood going on in the house or between them long before it came to that. I'm going to reserve my judgment on that until we hear MMA's side of the story.

SlayerS was in deep trouble for awhile. We have all seen this coming especially with how MMA just disappeared suddenly. The feeling of something was super wrong kept nagging at me and the moment BoxeR went back to his true home in SKT, I realized he knew SlayerS was dead. (I watched BW for a long time, SKT was my favorite )
I don't think this is all Jessica's fault. Sure she probably made one or two mistakes along the way but she is human, a bit over protective by her history but that's fine. In the end the players didn't cooperate to sort things out and just drifted apart instead of trying to find some common ground. This is a terrible situation for eSF I think, to lose a team like SlayerS when they can really ill-afford to lose anymore. KeSPA is already very well funded, ya they lost a couple of teams (3) but they are still way above in sponsors. This has to be sorted out or everyone will lose something.
I'm not blaming Jessica, while her attitude at times are questionable but in the end she tried her best.
I'm almost certain once KeSPA gets in the door, they will eventually get stronger and unless eSF sort this out, they will never look right in the public's eye. Especially when they admitted to punishing SlayerS.
P.S. I can pretty much guarantee that Fantasy will NEVER treat BoxeR the way MMA did. (if that came out to be true from what has been said in the OP)

This can be annoying and naggy when you're a 26 year-old manchild trying to make a name for himself. It's disgusting how he expects the team to cater to his emotional deficits. You manager is your captain's girlfriend and just so happens to be very vocal. She also cares for the team a lot and fights relentlessly for your benefit. Get over it Princess_Alicia. Oh wait, its kind of too late - because you destroyed a great thing for yourself.
The whole thing is like some terrible train wreck, but its really hard to hate on Jessica - especially when her 'kids' are so ungrateful. How can you call yourself a good team member if you only complain, think of yourself, and NOT acknowledge your own power to improve the team environment? I just don't understand how you can become such a spoiled brat. All the pampering, the team meals that they don't have to cook, the team football matches, the team house, everything handed to them. And they still expect to be paid on top of this - to the extent that they will throw everything away if they think they are being cheated out of money.
They will realize they will never, ever, ever find anything like SlayerS in a foreign team. And it's pretty evident that they won't have the character to have initiative and look after themselves like foreign players do. Expecting no more results from them, apart from the occasional top 10 MLG finish.
Seems like they have sold out their friends and livelihoods for money and glory. And they will find neither.

According to Jessica's post, the practice ban went on for at least 10 months. In Blizzard's term, 10 month definitely qualifies as short period, or "soon".
