It's total bullshit, Stephano was just joking and he wasn't representing EG. Was he on stage? No. Was he doing an interview? No. It's such bullshit managers are so afraid of negative publicity that they freak out over every little thing their players do or say. I don't want a million faceless players who churn out boring comments like : I want to give good games for my fans. I want Stephano. Stephano. Leave EG. fuck them

Uhm, not really - the same goes for one's sense of morality, there is 1% saints and there are people who are not that good and (sometimes) are trying to improve. The whole e-sports industry is a mix of sports-like skills and entertainment. Stephano is great in terms of skill but his attitude will not grant him universal acclaim. In fact, he just dug deeper into his ugly little hole. It is understandable that EG is not delighted with this. i didn't say it's black and white anyways Stephano is a little douche, everyone knows that but EG is ok with douchery we all know that. They gave him a punishment, the case is solved, the pathetic saddos who want to crucify him are just ridiculous. NONE of them would ever stand up against someone in real life, with their faces and spending time on a matter such as this. You know why they do it? Because it's so damn easy. you can send an email of complaint in 1 minute, no effort and that's the all the power these people will ever have in their lives except the power to step on an ant. And most of these people are uneducated hypcrites who would have boners in 1 second if they saw a hot and naked 14 year old girl. these are the scum of the internet. worst part: they're even stupid enough to not get an obvious joke. EG couldn't care less about Stephano being douche as long as he attracts 15k viewers on a random stream day. They just do this to calm down the retards in the community. They're probably laughing their asses off with Stephano included about the idiocy of the people while joking about having sex with a hot 14 year old, or even having sex with a cute little animal, or insert any sick joke of any subject. and you know what? as long as they don't actually do anything like this they're probably better people than everyone who helped in the witch hunt.

If I were Stephano, I never would've joined EG. Should've became an independent player like Violet, I'm pretty damn sure Stephano could pick up some sponsors. Then he could talk about raping 14 year olds like it's going out of style. p.s. It isn't lolololololololol

It's not like they're on missions to third world countries or whatever, and I'd expect people in such countries to be immediately wary of a doctor who pretends to offer help while acting like that. It's not that these people are expected to be squares at all times, but if they want to be taken seriously as a "professional," they may as well act like it. And anyways, they're not automatically special because they are M.D.s and deserving of more respect. They'll lose whatever benefit of the doubt people naturally give doctors if they act that immature. As to Stephano, he's getting what he deserves, imo, and certainly what he should have expected from EG and Alex Garfield. AG has to demonstrate that his previous wall of text actually stood for something, but I also believe he more or less meant it (his thoughts on the orb situation). No, this wasn't racism with Stephano, but it is close enough to general matters of civility and conduct, etc., that this reaction from EG is no surprise.

It's the idea that players should be public figures without having any of the drawbacks of being a public figure because this is a "game". =\ Which is grossly flawed and just ignorant.

It was meant to be private. He wasn't representing EG. You'd think he would take care not to careless let loose of his sexual interests on battle.net to someone who has a high chance of streaming it wasn't a joke. All this 'ESPORTS' and drama queens make my head hurt. Even so, the last thing we should care about are his interests.

Doctors after med school earn 6k USD per year here, a bar maid earns more than them in my country. asshole doctors are sometimes awesome at healing your illnesses, you should try to accept that this exists, watch an episode of house m. d. if your daughter/lover would be sick, and you could choose between an asshole who's really good at his job or an average doctor, which one would you choose? you know it's the asshole. if you sue the doctor afterwards then you have no idea about values in the world, you're just hurting other people because you can.

I seriously still cannot fathom how you can burn Eclypsia at the stake when they did their April Fool's joke which was tasteless yes, but also not nearly as bad as joking of 'abusing a 14 y.o' (not exact quotes no, but come on, unless you're stupid, you know what he was meaning).. We have a foreigner who is doing great (not like we haven't had one before. In all fairness, at least Naniwa has made it WAY further in Code S than Stephano has... actually, if you compare GSL results, Stephano isn't in the same league as Naniwa >>>>in terms of GSL results<<< The fun of Foreigners vs Koreans in tournys is a fun little saga yes, but holy shit I feel like those that are acting as if this is no big deal at all need to back up a bit and think of it as if it was a family member of yours he was talking about or a very close friend. All in all, this has gotten WAY out of hand. Clearly EG sees this is wrong, and so do their sponsors. I honestly feel its not harsh enough seeing 1 month of no pay won't do jack crap for him from all the tournys he won this year, all being BIG money winners too. And being 19 = immature is an excuse, which are just ways to back out of issues without taking full responsibilities. And hell, if you're considered an adult at 15 and its okay in other countries. Wouldn't that make him 3 years further along into his maturing as an adult process than in the US (just saying that cause I live here, all an example)? WIth that, i'm not reading this anymore. So any direct responses to me will be wasting your time typing to a brick wall. GL HF in the game everyone. Haha I like how you put, "any direct responses to me will be wasting your time". You really want to think you're right, don't you? Well since you're not going to read this, and seem SO touchy about this certain situation...that has NOTHING to do with YOU....I raped your sister, your mom, your mom's mom, then your sister again. Pussy. User was temp banned for this post.

Hopefully he can learn from this and apply it in the future. when he signed his contract for his first team he entered the business world. there are different codes of conduct involved than if he was on his own. There are a lot of people posting who don't seem to understand this. It's not just the gaming community. If something like this got out on twitter for any business the employee would have to deal with the fallout. These players are in a very public eye. They stream so much and anybody can access that. It shouldn't be a shock to anybody that there would be an issue with this type of behavior.
