I don't even think this thing was news whatsoever until people heard that Stephano was punished. If it wasn't newsworthy to most people, why should EG care about it? Idra's comment was basically "fuck this guy, I hate him" Stephano's comment was basically "I fucked a minor" Yeah, Idra's is much worse because english is his native language. | ||

Making a joke doesn't make you a criminal, at least not in most places I've been to. you don't seem (or perhaps want) to be able to grasp the fact that words do not mean ANYTHING. If there were evidence that Stephano actually had sex with a 14 year old girl, he would have been fired. Please stop reffering to him as a criminal, you may not like him but that doesn't make him a bad guy. | ||

I totally disagree of your summation of both player's comments. One was an indirect specific threat on a specific person, another was an ambiguous statement regarding an unnamed person; The sexual tones are inferred, not necessarily implied. Aside from that, while Idra did not mean what he said, I would not define it as a joke either. With Stephano's case, it seems much more likely to be a joke, and did in fact incite laughter. You also don't bother to distinguish the different contexts, public and private(intention), which is HUGE. | ||
