They can't play in GSL, half of OSL spots were given to GSL players, and the only foreign tournament they are allowed to participate is MLG(probably). And this all after hybrid proleague bullshit. WTF KESPA!!! I wish the P in Kespa stood for player ![]()

They get nice salaries, nice vacations, they do not have to pay for shelter, food, computers, etc, photo shoots, their games are broadcasted on television and they are looked at as celebrities. They have attended IEM, WCG, etc. So, saying that Kespa is not for the "players" because they are not allowed to join GOM's GSL is extremely exaggerated and selfish.

They as in Jaedong, Flash, Jangbi, Stork, Fantasy and Bisu.

Also, why wouldn't the best players on your team not receive a nice salary? Why would you pay somebody who doesn't contribute much to your team as much as your best players?

A lot of the players get stipends, not salaries. Also they screw over the players with things like "free agency". Don't get me wrong: I think KeSPA represents legitimate eSports in a way that SC2 needs, but it would be silly to think that KeSPA doesn't represent the interests of the chaebols first.

Free agency is a good thing though. Rather then just saying "your fired" they give other teams the opportunity to pick you up. How is that different from basketball or football? Also, can you link your source that the players receive stipends? Because I disagree with that as Flash gets paid a lot more then other players on the team. Also, please specify what you mean by "Kespa doesn't represent the interest of the players".

There is a thread on it somewhere around here on TL. Issue is, a free agent cannot decide what team they can sign with. Whichever bids the highest wins. So someone leaving the team to test the free agency waters can get picked up by the original team for a pathetic salary. This happens a lot.

You would think the highest bidder would apply some of the money in the salary as well. Also, can you link me to that thread? I am interested in reading it.

Highest bid ALWAYS wins. This process is ok for the super elite, but for everyone else its awful. If you want to become a free agent you can end up screwing yourself so hard. Agents being forbidden is OBVIOUSLY Kespa taking advantage of young people who don't know any better. This is ULTRA red flags, its a signal to how the rest of the organization is run.

It's not gonna be that bad. There are a lot of KeSPA players around, so they won't have to worry about not being able to fill the tournament. What we'll probably see is a lower-skill tournament with bad English casting, because the good casters have been gobbled up elsewhere and the GSL players have simply had a ton more practice.

The kespA players don't get many vacations while mc could take one whenever Woah, SKT just came back from one (yep Hawaii) and same goes for Samsung + KT! Team 8 too if I can remember.

He took a gamble and left for an easier scene in a different game. His gamble paid off. Dunno how that's an issue with Kespa.
