If it were me, I wouldn't budge unless they participate in 4 as well. Same. Nothing prevents KeSPA from backing out of next season while they formulate a backup plan and try to calm down the PR firestorm. Yeah, why would eSF trust them?

I'm actually interested in what the KeSPA players think of the fact that eSF and the non-KeSPA players do whatever they want - pretty much - instead of being bossed around by an umbrella organisation.
Perhaps eSF or similar will turn into a legitimate players association in the future. One can hope atleast.

Not everything in the world is about money. Maybe they don't want to completely turn their backs on the company/league that started SC2 esports and helped them to establish themselves and teams....

With the negative reaction from Koreans themselves (and even on KeSPA"s website), it would be PR suicide (which does affect viewers and may affect sponsors as well) to pull players out from Season 5.

You sure you are well informed about the team's salary situation? Because I have some sources which are incomatible with your statements.

What does League of Legends have to do with this?...
All joking aside I hope this doesn't hurt the Korean SC2 scene and that Gom still remains as the Korean SC2 premier tournament I have always respected how they went about things and now that I have a better paying job I might buy season passes even if I can't watch most of the game just to support GOM.

Does it matter? I don't see GOM going "well shit registration period ended you can't join us now."

The preliminaries are 5-6 Sept if that means anything

Oh yippee, that's just what a struggling Korean sc2scene needs, petty arguments and squabbles. This is just bad and getting worse.

No. They will participate in GSL Season 5 qualifiers, not these upcoming ones.

Registration ends August 27 (I think), so there is plenty of time .

Sources like what? Last time I checked most sc2 players weren't even salaried and teams were folding because no money.
Jesus Christ, it's like I'm watching a race riot.

Season 5? So after about 5 month lol
|
Blah, Season 5 ... What about the next one ?! It's quite selfish to ask eSF players to attend the OSL, based on the promise that you'll let your players paricipate in the qualifiers for the GSL ... in 2-3 ( ? 5 ? ) months time. In 2 months, a freaking meteorite could hit the Earth, or maybe worst - the next Command and Conquerer could wipe-out StarCraft and all its history :D
