There's a thread over on reddit linking to this new interview with David Kim from IEM which needs translation. I found one translation in the comments on the reddit thread, but, it was awful. Hopefully someone here can get us a proper translation of that article asap! PM it to me or post and I'll edit the OP!

I really like that it can latch to air units. It's a good way to deny oracle harass (which is insanely strong for how little effort it requires). I also see it as being a decent solution to lategame zerg where they switch back and forth between ultras and broods. It's also the only interesting unit being given to Terran.

Nice to see Terran get some splash damage but it sounds like its going to be really really strong XD, hope the beta is out soon, don't even care if i get in or not i want to watch streams of it :D

Im not looking forward to this widow mine bullshit. I dont even play zerg, but i feel for them when all their mutas get blown to kingdom come.

Pretty sure it was already announced at MLG Anaheim that Vortex would only be affecting ground units while a new spell (Stasis) would affect air units.
I kinda like the Widow Mine change. It might be a bit imbalanced at this juncture, but having to wait 10 seconds for detonation was just stupid.

so its okay that terrans get a unit that can literally kill a unit by itself+deal a decent amount of splash damage, be spammable, detect units, no friendly fire, explode instantly, and attack land and ground units.That is what is call that balanced? Because right now it does all that except explode instantly.

yeah shredder was a cool idea, would never have scrapped it because of the reason it turns off with friendly units around and might be to complex to understand. Imo it would have contributed alot to the game. Well the mine will do too, found the 10 second timer cooler though. (might have made laying out a mine field to weak though as one unit can kill all mines then) But while the widow mine did pretty okay damage, she actually did no damage to protoss units with alot of shields x3.

Now i wish blizzard would unnerf the 2 nerfs the hydralisk got on the past and made the off creep movement speed 2.5
that way its not crappy mid game and atleast decent

Yeah but they are next to useless if u kill them, other then preventing movement, they cost 75/25... Did u ever play BW? Vultures...

I don't understand what it says about the mothership. What does "mothership will still be slow" mean? Isn't it stationary in HOTS?
