From what I can tell, yes, except for air and chargelots, which can be countered by vikings and battle hellions. This results in a mobile MMM style army, only it's mech and has more hitpoints.

Why not just give phoenixes no energy requirement to use graviton catapult? Would make for harassment that required active control and focus, maybe as a trade-off they could take away it's ability to shoot while moving?

Hmm.. maybe tempests can be useful in PvT in a completely different way... to counter drops while mobilizing your stalker army haha... a couple tempests with that insane range and some observers can snipe any medivac before any damage is dealt

I didn't really liked the feeling of the game overall... Oracle will be incredibly strong or underpowered, there'll be no middle ground just like reaper. From this battle report it just look like a "build the right robots from the right houses" 1A game.

What difference does it make if it's initially scoutable when I have no idea what variant is coming before it's too late. It's a joke to basically have to fast expo against something that can be an all-in coming. If they make banshees I'm supposed to make a unit that loses to everything in the game and can't even take a banshee 1 on 1? Wtf kinda stupid counter is that? Gateway units are worthless without upgrades. 1/1/1 abuses that way too hard. Combine that with having to expo quickly... Takes so little skill to execute the 1/1/1 in comparison to defending it. If the super cannon was the only thing they added for toss, I'll take it. Good expansion. Anything else is a bonus.
Am I the only one that feels like were being trolled by the new "destructible rocks". They literally blow up into MORE got damn rocks. I know someone joked about Blizzard making destructible rocks under more rocks, but they are seriously thinking it's a good idea. Hopefully they change their minds and remove it during the actual game release.
Some cool APM opportunities i see for heart of the swarm are
-tempest harassment with focus fire since the long attack cooldown and the ability to overkill is too easy -oracle harassment obv a nice apm sink especially considering how fast it is -mothership energy boost thing, give energy to sentry or oracles early on. Later game i imagine recall is too useful to not use. -widow mines might be good against air unit harass too (mutalisk anyone?)

Roaches and Marauders looked pretty stupid/simplistic/easy in WoL alpha. Hey, weird, they look exactly the same now.
I really wish Day9 would give honest public feedback about this game. He has friends who are game designers and he knows these units are dumb, but he won't say anything...

yeah i think so haha. What i really didnt like in the battle report was the toss durped with them so hard, like he didnt have stalkers under them so they just got target fired by vikings every time like really? they have like 23 range vikings have 9 they like shouldnt even be able to poke at them because stalkers should always be under them. Was really sad.
And this is the problem. Another tier 3 unit that toss has to babysit with stalkers. I think we're ready for something new.
