Scans do not cost any minerals, you just get those minerals later.

Cute, but what else do we have against Broodlords/Corruptors? 25 damage Snipe? Clunky Thors whose slow damage can easily be negated by chain Transfuses, if they manage to reach Broodlords while being literally swarmed by Broodlings? BattleCruisers which take years to build and aren't even so hot against Corruptors? Vikings which are absolute garbage against Fungal/Corruptors/ITs? Marines that never get in range?...

Well, same speed and acceleration as the Medivac, or?...

When your race is favored for a year and a half, you don't need buffs.
No, you are wrong. Terran players have just been the better players.
This is why you guys aren't being taken seriously.
I don't think it's so much that Terran players were better as it was that there were actually just a lot more really top Terran players. Same with now. There are Zergs who do really well (DRG, Symbol, pre-slump Nestea) but the rest of the playing field seems to drop off after the top. It's not so much a balance thing either. I mean, Terran was definitely OP for awhile after release, but there were also a tonne of super good T players that are still pretty damn good today. Zergs really didn't (and still don't) have that depth of talent. Protoss didn't have it until around 6 months ago. Today, I'd say most of the top players are Terran, followed by Toss, followed by Zerg.
well first of all that is a very narrow and skeptical way of viewing this topic. You are wrong sir. Where is your evidence to support such an idiotic statement?
I can list like 10+ Code S Terrans that I would say are and have pretty much always been mechanically stunning players. I can name about 5 Zergs, a few of whom weren't even good in 2011. Like, think back to when Nestea was the best Zerg player. Who else was there? Seriously. Who else was there? Then DRG came. Then Leenock for a brief moment. Then Symbol for a little. Seriously, that's like a who's who of post-Fruitdealer Zergs.
Let me tell you some genuine reasons to explain why there actually could have been more terran players... First of all, all of us can agree that terran had the biggest advantage out of the three races. Next, it was a terran expansion after all. Kinda obvious most people would choose terrans. Third, terran is the most similar to their counterpart brood war. The players saw this similarity and stuck to it. I also want to mention the fact that terran was the most simple race but had a lot of micro potential. (i.e splitting marines) there are games where people won just by splitting marines for goodness sake... if there were zerg or even protoss units that could have done to that extent to even win using one unit, im pretty sure we would have seen a near even amout of all three races.

Relating unrelated things is a useful talent toi have.

Isn't it exactly like medivac's?
Just about yea. But this is for anyone too lazy to actually go and check on the map for themselves.

Lol wut? using a scan=losing a mule=losing minerals=costing minerals.
Absolutely not. The 270 minerals you would have harvested in the 90 seconds after your scan are still in the mineral fields, you did not “lose” them. You will simply get them later.

That would be true if games lasted long enough to have time to harvest every single mineral field on your side of the map, which in 99% of games simply doesn't happen.
In most case you don't get those minerals later cause you're either dead or you won, so yes the scan did cost you minerals overall.

Man, as long as the map doesn't get mined out, it's the same thing as losing 270. Anything involving a fight before you've at least mined out your main, treats a scan as 270 lost minerals. It's basically self inflicted Entomb.

Mules are Terran's Macro ability to keep up with Chronoboost and Larva. Each scan use temporarily removes their only ability to maintain an even footing with the other 2 races. It may not be minerals lost, but it's unmined Minerals and a weakened economy.

No, Mules don't cost minerals... you end up with the same amount of minerals, just at a later time. Supply drops! Now they actually add minerals as that's frees up 100 minerals for other uses
