They say the replicator was bad because it was ruining unit diversity and what not, but 'Abduct' is just destroying the much needed units in a protoss or terran army. It's causing a similar problem as replicants imho.
Suggestion: Abduct can't pull massive units. That's a good start imho.
I'm sorry but what would the purpose of abduct be if you can't abduct valuable units?
Let's all abduct marines!

Plus it's just a beta right now so theyre playing around with the numbers.

I don't understand why they're taking out the carrier without even trying to patch it. Remember when the infestor was kinda underused (I know, right?) so they patched it or the warp prism they gave crazy amounts of shields to in order to make it more viable? Why haven't they tried anything with the carrier? Maybe a build time reduction like ultras? That sounds like something they would implement if they won't give us the microbility back. Even more so, why has _no one_ in this interviews brought up the fact that you were able to micro your carriers in bw to make them really strong while in sc2 you can't? I'm really curious if they are even aware of that fact. Unfortunately no one is asking..

great interview. the interviewers voice helps a lot.

Considering historically in SC2 terran and zerg get upgrades nerfed, while for toss they always just get completely removed, I would say that Blizzard has no idea what to do with them, raping the carrier for some glorified tankshee just shows even more that Browder doesn't understand his own game, especially protoss.
We already know Browder is mainly a terran fan, removing a upgrade or the most iconic protoss unit means absolutely nothing for him.

did the phoenix +2 range really "fix the muta problem" like Browder says? I really don't get the impression that protoss players are relying on phoenix as a reaction to mutas at all..

Here are two similar things.
Tempest has 22 range. This interview lasts 22 minutes. Hmm

Why protoss can't do same? Have phoenixes and zealots?
Also, here are art from the background

Muta harass power lies in the mid game, the only thing that upgrade did was make idiot zergs that still make mass muta at 20 min be more easily countered, apart from just after the patch where people where trying it out, I never see any pro's use it anymore. It's a shit upgrade that might be useful for silver leaguea but for a pro there's usually more incentive to go mass carrier then mass lategame phoenix.
Not to mention that with the recent very necessary queen buff zergs get stupid amounts of them, making early air harass very difficult to pull off.
Oh well just 2 more years before they will actually spend some real time thinking about how to fix this broken race.

I don't know imo Toss has the best new additions of all the races.
A unit that harasses mineral lines, gives vision through fog of war without losing the unit and it cloaks. Thats all one unit that does that.
Then you have the Tempest nuff said about that.
Mothership core defensive capability, recall, turns into mother ship.
Abduct is just so so. In ZvZ it will reallly have no use. The swarm host? yea not really a fan. Love the hydra upgrade

This guy would make a great caster.

Because zerg is the fastest tech switching race and will quick switch to banelings org hydras. Well, larva spawn from queen probably must be nerfed to 3 from injection (instead 4) and decrease maximum amount of larva per hatchery from 19 to 15 or 11

I think it comes down to when Kenngint interviews, a lot of his questions start off as complaints. "A lot of players have been complaining..." "We have seen a problem with zerg in..." "Recently the blank has been seen as too powerful" Thats fine, but if you are going to bringing up complaints for the whole interview then it can get tiresome to watch.
This guy seemed genuinely curious and open to his answers.

Harass unit is funny, but entomb gets killed in a couple seconds if you just let your workers attack it. Oh and your examples of what it can do are rather silly, you could also apply them to a infestor or cloakshee. Tempest, nuff said? Haha, 22 range is funny but with a 6 second cooldown, a whopping 10dps and a 300 gas cost, yes, more then a godamn carrier, it's just an interesting concept very poorly done.
Swarm host is kinda shitty I admit, but it mostly seems to be a low level unit against players that turtle all day, normally you would need to tech to broods if your opponent had decent placement.
Biggest thing about zerg is going to be upgrades anyway, burrowed charging ultras, speed hydras, burrowed bane movement.
Abduct is going to be freaking fantastic in everything but maybe ZvZ, but noone likes that anyway so I have no idea what your problem is.
Unless ofcourse you think that being able to take out power units like the HT, tank and infestor is actually bad.

I like to think that they commisioned this artist with the request that he include no less than TWO asses in his picture.

I'm sad we haven't heard anything about the corruptor. I feel like it's a unit that's really boring. But it's supposed to be a SQUID unit. Surely they can do something with that! Squids are awesome!
