So against zerg expect to see a more tank/thor heavy mech army. Against protoss battlehellions/warhounds seems like a good mix. Mines can be used to support both. Now the question is... Protoss stuff I all really like. Tempest seem to be in a good place. They need Observers to get the full effect, and their awful fire rate means they aren't going to be game breaking at all. Oracles look fantastic, and I know I'm going to have nightmares about Oracle+Warp Prism harass. Like protoss needs more maphax though, Observers are good enough. ![]() Mass recall scares me a lot but I think it'll be ok since you can only have one Mothership/Core. Also, overlooked is the ability for cores to restore energy. Protoss are going to have defensive warp-in storms again, as well as infinity defensive force fields. Zerg stuff is mostly good. Ultralisks terrify me now because they have all that health *and* the burrow. Hydras being good makes me happy, and should lead to much more interesting Zerg lategame. Vipers seem a little too good. They're as strong as ravens with none of the time drawbacks. You can morph several at once, consume units for energy intantly and ruin all kinds of units. Swarm Hosts look really well designed. The battle report showed that you need to be on top of army control when working with them or your locusts will charge off on their own. Oh also, the veiny creep expansion is cool. As a Terran this all worries me though, Tanks are going to be so weak now, and we're going to be even heavier on viking usage than before. However, best thing out of all of this is collapsible rocks! | ||
