Terran has no strengths anymore. Everything they do can be done better by P or Z. Range? Nope. Splash? Super nope. Map control? Nope.

TvZ is already terribly zerg favored after the queen buff...

If HotS gets released like this then T goes extinct like it already has been going towards every patch.

Dont know what could be worse; being in an iraqi tank in the gulf war or a siege tank in hots. We will see how this works out, these mines however dont seem to make sense at all.

I find it funny though that the Zerg in that game could have gone good ol' mass roaches and it probably would have killed Protoss just the same.
Never doubt roaches.

Why are people acting like vipers are going to destroy tanks in the matchup? It's a 200 gas unit that takes up a ton of supply, you're not going to make one viper for every tank or you'll have like 20 zerglings as the rest of your army. A lot of terran armies will have up to around 10 tanks, maybe three will get hooked out by a unit that costs more than the tank does in the first place.

Day 9 mentioned that vipers are very expensive at 200gas a pop. Thats more expensive than a templar. And all terran needs are a couple of ghosts to nullify them completely. Similarly protoss can just feedback them. So its not as big a deal as it seems.
Swarm hosts did seem a bit underwhelming. They may need to be buffed a bit.


EMP'ing air units is kind of funky though unless you mean sniping them.

My god the OP complaints are gettting really annoying, it's not even in beta yet.
But yeah being a Korean gamer is very imba. If you're a non-korean gamer you have to balance your game playing with earning money and your real life. If you're Korean you just sit around playing games all day eating 2 cent ramyun and becoming gosu.

Probably a siege tank, because they can at least get off one shot before they die.

Oh, and by the way, why does Blizzard hate the Siege Tank so much? If you're making them so easy to pick off, you may as well give them their pre-nerf damage back.


The oracle was effective because it kept entombing the same base over and over that the zerg didn't bother to place any defense at. A couple of spines and it wouldn't have worked nearly as well. The zerg could have just sent his corruptors to the space it was hiding and shut it down. In general both players were pretty bad.

Swarm host seemed great. It just needs support like a good siege unit should. Did you see how wary the protoss was of engaging into the Hydra/host army? He seemed pretty scared.

I think the tempest should be fine against Zerg as while it has great range it has a relatively weak attack for such an expensive unit. I agree it will make tanks even worse though and that sucks.

Yeah mothership core seems like it might be to strong. It looks like so much fun I hope they manage to keep it.

That's completely irrelevant. The game doesn't look balanced CURRENTLY, it doesn't matter what phase of the game its in regardless of whatever phase it is in.
