When beta is released, Swarm hosts will have a hot fix on the first patch due to a glitch. The recast time is like what 12-15 seconds in between releasing locusts? Guarantee if you unburrow them after the release the locusts and reburrow it will auto attack again with no wait time. Test it at the event and see if that works now. | ||

Sad we didn't see the mothership though, cuz i can't imagine it being the way it is now, cuz overlapping abilities just musn't be. *Tempest looks really bad and i can see players just getting one, to slowly kill stuff, they needed to 3 shot those swarm hosts, which is like 12 seconds. *Oracle seems imba, with entomb aswell as cloak. *Mothership core, will only be used for the recall. *I like hydra speed buff very much. *Ultra charge is stupid and i was afraid it was going to be totally imba, but didn't get that impression from the battlereport. | ||

That's a "bug" that's a) unlikely to happen and b) those things have quite a long burrow time and are visible when unburrowed so... | ||

The video didnt actuly show anything at all aside from some basics of the new units, and is no indication whatsoever of any balance, relative strengh of units, army composition viability, or anything really of note aside from "this is X unit, it does Y" | ||

Tempest just looks ridiculous. Oracle, recall and mothership core seem... They *maybe* could work and make for interesting gameplay. Warhound + battlelion just seem very lazy way of improving terran lategame. While I appreciate that it will probably allow terrans to fight lategame without basically playing "avoid the deathball" game, but I didn't want 1a units :/ I wanted toss and zerg to have less 1a units :/ Widow mines could work. I assume they are going to cost supply though, which i dont particularly like. Dunno I feel spider mines were just so perfect, coming off a mineral only unit which you recycled for more mines. More recycling = better, sounds kinda perfect for gameplay(since it obv forces actions all around the map). Viper... I really was hoping they'd remove the pull. These kind of abilities are the worst thing Blizzard has done in WoL(concussive, FG immobilize, FFs), since they are so... definite. Slightly out of position and you are screwed. Blinding cloud is imo fine and is probably going to make things very interesting. Swarm host I'm unsure of. Kind of feel like it's either going to be way to strong or suck way to much. Ultralisk charge is kind of crazy. Doubt it will ever work without heavy nerf to the ultra. Hydra speed is interesting. Currently I don't think it would really make any difference, but in HotS, if we are going to assume TvZ will be more mech orientated, it might help them. For vP, with the viper able to pull colossi, it might also work there. Also it makes hydras more micro-able, which is only positive. | ||

Way more fun but fragile style to play, maybe toss evolves into non-deathball-turtle race now. At least I hope so! Terran units look kinda meh, siege tanks look pretty outclassed so whats the point of em mines in the first place? :S Zerg on the other hand looks like a ton of fun, no idea if its too good or w/e, it just looks fun, I like it. ![]() Do something for terran and then HotS seems very promising to me. | ||
