Sure he doesn't deserve to be here but if you couldn't qualify for like one of the 38 spots for WCS, than you probably don't deserve to be in it either.

Hi Gosu-user,
I was at the hospital with my grandma for 8 weeks because she was diagnosed pancreatic cancer. So I was not able to play Starcraft 2. I only had time to play at the last 2 playhem qualifiers only to be eliminated by Boyo and FGSiphonn, both of them won the tournament qualifier. Can you understand my situation? Thanks.

Until Blizzard actually takes some action against the hackers or changes the game to make hacking harder for every new player that comes up or any player that suddenly gets a lot better we are all going to say in the back of our mind is he hacking. Its a real shame the damage that people like this do to the credibility of esports.

He should be disqualified from every tournament and shunned by the sc2 online community. That's all.
You didn't think that first sentence out very well, at all. He hacked in a video game(which makes you an asshole), than gets invited to a tournament that means an absolute ton to a lot of people, with a big prize pool, and accepts the invite. He literally stole a spot from someone much more deserving than him. He cost Blizzard several thousand dollars(hopefully they wont fly him out and give him his hotel spot), that is something that someone who is a bad person would do. This is almost worthy of a civil case. Hell perhaps it actually is, I don't personally know enough about the laws around this type of matter.
Obviously he shouldn't be physically threatened, but if Blizzard actually lets him fly out the community needs to make it clear that it is NOT ok to hack. This whole situation is quite embarrassing for Blizzard. This means they randomly selected GM players to go to WCS, because if they looked at their play at all this guy obviously would be banned and someone else would be coming. Best case scenario is they have time to host a tournament among the runner ups of the qualifiers and the winner gets the spot, otherwise they should just let someone have a walkover if they don't have time or aren't willing to pay the price for the last minute flight. I just really hope they don't let this guy actually fly out.

Hello there Faith, While your situation was unfortunate, it still does not mean you have the right to replace the hacker. I would think you are not the only one who placed well in the qualifiers but didn't make it. Thanks.

Serious progaming teams don't recruit people who haven't shown results at LAN's anyways. Being in GM is obviously nice, but its only going to be a matter of time before the witch hunt is turned loose on you.
All of the hacking that has been going on is making me lol.
Up until recently there hasn't really been a uproar against maphackers like this in a long time. I think people will be thinking twice from this point on.

sh*t happens... still big props to blizzard for holding such a large event

I dont get your post, you are talking like hacking is some sort of big investment, if a casual players hacks and actualy manages to win a small tourny, its pretty much free money,
Regarding the "witch hunt" thing, like i said in my previous post, one thing is a guy that uses stalker hacks or whatever its called, another thing is a guy with a maphack that knows how to play smart, fake scouts with workers etc. all people will have is circunstancial shit like "hey he blind countered me 2x in a row", "hey he scouted my expo with his worker right when it started getting built" etc.

Lets face it, most of these are kids who can't accept the fact that they just aren't very good at the game and need a crutch to beat anyone. Or they somehow think they can actually get away with it. People aren't stupid. This shit always eventually comes out and ruins your career, doesn't matter who you are.
Thumbs up to that post
Ego's and reputations can create pretty terrible situations for incredibly nice and hard working people.
I FEEL YOUR SITUATION FAITH.
I vote for Faith to take the spot of this hacker at WCS

Faith you know you don't deserve that spot. Drop it

Disgusting that some people actually consider violence to be a good "lesson" or "deterrent" to a map hacker.
But I agree in the sense that he should be unwelcome at the event. There are many other ways to make him feel unwelcome without being threatened by hotheaded nerds hungry for e-drama.

Hahaha, I predicted this in this Impa thread. That is so funny.
Blizzard either cleans this up, or SC2 Esports dies...

Can you imagine how awkward it would be to cast his game. Or even worse, if he won the event and admitted to being a maphacker on stage.
