I honestly dont understand the point of hacking online. You don't win serious prize money, and even if you manage to win small online tourny's like Playhem, theres no way that you will be able to make a living off of it.
Serious progaming teams don't recruit people who haven't shown results at LAN's anyways. Being in GM is obviously nice, but its only going to be a matter of time before the witch hunt is turned loose on you.
All of the hacking that has been going on is making me lol.

requesting Faith in for WCS.

I received a warning earlier for saying blizzard employees are morons. It's clear that they are actually wise. I apologize for my previous statement.

He should be disqualified from every tournament and shunned by the sc2 online community. That's all. in my book it does make you a horrible person... i could be friend with a thief, but certainly not a cheater.
How the hell is cheating worse than being a thief???
Nevermind it doesn't even matter...

From the player handbook:
All USA Nationals Players win at least $150 in prize money.
NOOOOOOOOO HACKER GETS PAID TO PLAY ROFL

I'm requesting and hoping for LagTTFaith for WCS!

I think its quite silly that some people are picking up pitchforks and literally thinking about going to beat this guy up.
The point is not that he is hacking, the point is the joke called blizzard that allows something like this to happen.
Their record with hacking is mindblowing, the ammount of hacks available on pretty much all of their games is rediclous.
DIII already had bot and hacks available on release, a game were suposedly you can earn real money playing.
What is even more sickening is their "no lan because pirateslol" while they down know squat about what takes place over their network even while employing intrusive bullshit counter measures that pretty much reads all the shit you have runing on your computer.
The fact that an actual hacker gets invited to an event is just the cherry on the top, if anything it would be great that he shows and actualy wins something, so then he can look at the camera and say "THX BLIZZARD". Shit is pathetic really.
Btw, i know a guy that back in the day, won like 1k in online warcraft TFT tournaments, he decided to try a maphack on his first tournament, he used a public hack, then with the earning of the first tournament he got himself a designer hack that was pretty much untraceable. Bottom line is, here on TL there have been quite a few threads pointing this or that hacker out, but one thing is retards doing drop hacks and stalkers hacks and another is a guy with a maphack and half a brain. This shit wont be fixed until blizzard pulls their head out of their asses.

This guy's obviously not going... no way you would be caught at a live event lol. Not sure why Blizz would invite him though, there's so many other more deserving people...

It isn't too late for Blizzard to take action if they want to.
There are plenty of American Players that will be attending MLG that were not able to qualify for WCS.
There are even players who got very deep within one or more of the playhem qualifiers for WCS.
There is even a player who was in the finals, down 1-0, and had his starcraft crash during a game in which he was way ahead, for which he was disqualified (playhem's rule, to help dailies run smoothly.)
In conclusion, NrGLuckyfool in WCS.

Ego. Lets face it, most of these are kids who can't accept the fact that they just aren't very good at the game and need a crutch to beat anyone. Or they somehow think they can actually get away with it. People aren't stupid. This shit always eventually comes out and ruins your career, doesn't matter who you are.

Why didn't you qualify? There were plenty of qualifiers. Please stop cluttering this thread with posts of your desire to replace the maphacker. Sure he doesn't deserve to be here but if you couldn't qualify for like one of the 38 spots for WCS, than you probably don't deserve to be in it either.

If he has any tie to the community and knows of this threads existence, I highly doubt he will actually show up to the event for fear of some one actually physically harming him. Not saying this is the right thing to do at all, just saying it is very possible.
|
This is disgusting, he is there in place of someone who deserved a spot, and might have kick started their career with an amazing run. Unlikely, but its sad that person doesnt get his deserved shot. Should be ashamed of yourself

Well, this is the crux of the problem. Someone actually deserving that could use it to potentially catapult their career now won't be able to. That's way more upsetting than some idiot cheating because it robs the fans of legitimate players.
|
look at this thread... you think he's even gonna show up?
|
I'm speechless. This is truly disgusting.
