You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody. Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence.

From this thread the following hackers are confirmed and in GM right now that I can remember from the top of my head IMNestea HRGZack FnaticTricky NMxJValjean Also the fraudster NMxBlazinT is currently in GM He pays for GM and then sells coaching to noobs who want to be coached by a GM but don't know he is a gold level player committing fraud. He is probably not being leveled by LgNBlackman this season since suddenly he is Protoss instead of Terran. I have also heard from people that NpPpSomeNoob is very suspicious when it's not a certain Korean who is smurfing on it. So at best we have 4 known hackers in GM.

Its going to ruin the ladder and without a private option available the game might just die sooner rather than later

Then you just start wondering and that's no good for them if they are legit and got their improvement through hard practice.

OH MAN Can't believe he's a maphacker lol. I remember his name popping up back when the TL MH thread was active and I asked him about it in game. He said that he didn't and was really manner until he lost. Then he just flamed me for allining when I was 3 base. Had no clue lmfao, that's pretty funny. Just got your PM zwei, and I'll pop up my replays to the bnet thread you linked. I see a couple people accusing Shokz of maphacking, I've played him a couple times on ladder and he never really struck me as someone who maphacks. Although it's TvT and he usually plays pretty standard, so aside from army movement and drop defense you really can't tell.

Their warder-system with mass-bans every 2-6 months or however often it is won't cut it. Just like so many gamecompanies have failed creating any kind of anti-cheat software for their games. What comes to mind is VAC. A total and utter failure at any form of preventative hackdetection. However, in a game like CS:Source (the game I'm most familiar with in terms of anti-cheats and has always been riddled with hacks) has a great community which has done some cool things in trying to deal with hackers on their own. For instance, a form of anti wall-hack that's been worked on instead of trying to fully disable wallhacks instead gives out false positives. Instead of trying to explain, here's a video demonstrating it - http://vimeo.com/33123251 I think that is something Blizzard should look into as well as other forms of hack-detections. Imagine a maphacker moving his entire army to defend a base becasue he spots a false armymovement through FOW only to move his army out of position instead. Now that is something that not only will piss hackers off, but it's beating them at their own game. In my eyes, something worth looking into by Blizzard ![]()

For those who didn't watch, "JacobTheKing" doesn't leave his base or scout a single unit, let alone the enemy base, yet prepares perfectly for every attack, and constantly toggles his camera over the advancing army of his enemy, which is completely out of his vision. I believe he even dropped a preemptive forcefield on the ramp he should have had no idea his opponent was about to walk up. Despite this massive advantage, dear JacobTheKing loses horribly and seems to suffer from a distinct lack of game understanding. TL;DR this guy doesn't even try to hide the fact that he's maphacking. 'JakobTheKing' also created a TL account and the first thing he asked was (already closed thread): "When will i get promoted": http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=346481 Remembered his odd nick from this thread.

Hell, I would be fine with a weekly patch that changed something in the code to make the hacks no longer work. If we can't stop them we might as well make them work their ass off to keep the hacks working. I'm especially worried. There is no evidence that Blizzard actively and drastically supports antihack in any of their previous games, including the first 2 years of SC2. They always take freaking ages to bring a patch out, meanwhile the ladder is unplayable for someone that cares if he gets hacked, like me. Starcraft and Warcraft moved on to private servers with decent antihack prevention and almost instant banning from dedicated administrators (hello PGTour and Iccup). The ball is entirely in Blizzards hands and we can only wait. But Blizzard is a business and a very greedy business. I'm stating everything based on facts and what we have seen from the past. I just don't see this as their priority, it pains me to say so. Warden is a piece of trash as evident by this rampant hacking and the banwaves are laughable coming every 2-3 months as far as I know, as are the ban lengths, lasting only a few days. Blizzard would need to drastically change their systems, and I'm not sure if the $$$ would be justified in their corporate world to be drastic enough :/ Again, I will use as evidence the 3+ months that the notorious hack has been released, the 77k + views that it has had, and fuck all has been done about it. little correction: the hack has been out for over a year, its the latest version that has gone out of control for 1.4.3 for some reason.

Is this guy actually on Team Legion? His post in the thread was quoting another. Which seems to imply he's been a long time user from when the hack was private, and that others will soon discover the private side of the hack. That is how further posters in the thread interpreted it as well, when the guy he was talking to asked what he meant. LgNKami himself did not reply. Another name that stood out is Orb. This guy is clearly not the popular Orb. However, following his post history led me to something interesting. He had his account boosted into GM and in fact this same site which is offering hacks is offering GM boosting even into top 16. This may explain why NMxBlazinT is being leveled by a Protoss this season instead of a Terran. They have sold at least 97 grandmasters accounts in the last year, judging by feedback score, most likely a bit more. So beware, apparently there are actually a lot of fake GM accounts as well. Some unknowns who suddenly rise into GM may actually be account boosted rather than hacking.

Keep in mind that that most likely any half smart person would not use their sc2 username in a hacker forum, but hey, someone might slip up. I'll do some cross checking with other possible sources of info later, here is the entire list though in case anyone is interested and might spot something to followup on. Unique IDs only ofc, so each person only shows up once. < clip > Name that immediately stuck out - LgNKami. Is this guy actually on Team Legion? His post in the thread was quoting another. You quoted a user called 'Girit'. I reported a 'Girit' named player regarding 'results disagree hacking' back in January: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=272003¤tpage=19#365 His account is still active, but has been renamed to mTGirit. I wonder if it is the same 'Girit' as in TL: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=292918 If all these 3 'Girit's are the same person, then it would not be a surprise if you find also other usernames that are active in several sites.

But then i manage to hold it and start walking towards his base with 10~ marines and he puts down FIVE cannons without any information whatsoever, even before expanding OR getting a gateway (He had a forge and lots of cannons only at this point). But the nail on the coffing is that i tech up to medievac to circunvent his 5 cannons up the ramp, and when i rally my army + medievacs to a corner of his base (on ohana) to elevator, he pops 4 more cannons there, just out of the blue. replay:http://drop.sc/200735
